Love your reviews. I own an original Ninja Foodi Grill and I am considering the IG601, mostly for the griddle and bottom heating. Do you think it is a worthy upgrade? Amazon has been censoring reviews again, but it seems people are complaining about things like :Probe errors, lid closing errors, food sliding down into the grease traps, and the ceramic finish peeling off.

You should do a test with this vs a cheap indoor grill or panini press for burgers. I bet they turn out exactly the same, or close anyway.

Hey, I just got this grill, have you had any issues with food sliding? The non stick is almost too good lol, everything slides to the front that I put in it!

If you use the griddle, nothing slides to the front. You won't get the grill marks, but it makes cooking things so much easier w/o them sliding.

I forget did you have the smart xl grill that didnt have the griddle? It would be interesting to see which grills faster or darker grill marks.

Looks awful (parts overcooked or undercooked) and takes way too long. I can do burgers and fries at the same time in about 20 mins, stove top. Seems like a griddle pan and frying pan on the stove is faster, better, and tastier.
