Thank you for the feedback. We are very new to KZbin and filming so I’m still working on editing and many other things. The constant switching of camera angles in the beginning was not intentional. Unfortunately I was recording vertically so if forced me to zoom constantly, only later in the video is it normal

Quite the spread you’ve got there. Great demonstration also! I’m quite envious of that M1 Carbine; I’ve always wanted one but the ones I find are always absurdly expensive. I feel like the clip vs magazine debate will go on until the end of time.

@@WhataGunnR thank you for the great comment. Yeah it’s a shame the Carbine Prices are so high now a days. Literally a few years ago you could pick them up under 1k depending on who made it. And yes I do agree people will always debate about clip/magazine. Anyway, I hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.

@ thanks so much ! We will definitely get better as time moves on. More ideas, better quality within the videos and we will get more comfortable talking. Thanks a lot though.

No SMLE 10 round ?
@FindsandFirearmsАй бұрын
@@derektodd4126 well we could have used the other clip for the extra 5 rounds in the mag but we just wanted to use one clip of 5. Good question for sure though haha. We just wanted to save time and the clips we have aren’t really broken in yet. Thanks for the comment though. Have a great day!

Yugoslavian Mauser, it’s what known as a gewehr 98, which was the most prevalent rifle used in the German army, and what you look like you have there is a karabiner B and was used because of its numbers, 9 million because of the treaty of Versailles, they shortened gewehr 98 so they could re-arm the German military, the k 98 didn’t start production until 1935, and ended in 1945,

@@stanleyspurgeon5339 So are you saying my M24/47 Yugo is a Gewehr 98? Because after ww2 I read where they took many of the m24s redisgned them from 1947-1952 to make them comparable to the Kar98. Thank you for the information though. Just thought I’d ask that question
@stanleyspurgeon5339Ай бұрын
@ yes it’s a gewehr 98 why,because there were so many contracts to build Mauser’s not all were built in Germany,i have a gewehr 98 made in Belgian by FN,marked 1949 mine could be a rebuilt nazi rifle who knows,you can tell by the straight bolt handle and it should have a cleaning rod,underneath the barrel,the K 98 has a turned down bolt handle,and has no cleaning rod underneath the barrel,both are German rifles Read about the history of the Mauser rifle,you will understand what I’m talking about

@ ahh very interesting. The original model was patterned after the Gewehr 98. Thank you for the information. Very cool.
