I've been using this specific product for a few weeks now and have had the same reliability as you. One thing I saw that you didn't touch on, is that you can export the raw data in CSV from the app to an email address so you can really dig into the data and create your own graphs with it in Excel, SmartSheets or another data tool.

Can this device work with the Smartlife app to trigger an automation? I'm looking for a temperature sensor to trigger a window fan when the outside temperature drops below the inside temperature.

Just pop off the back of the sensor it should be a double a battery

Can I ask you about calibration. I got all three sensors set up and connected to the network. However, in my ignorance, I was toggling the calibration values because I didn’t understand their purpose. Now I want to return to the values from the factory. Should I just take the batteries out of each sensor for ?? minutes and reinstall? Should I delete the devices in the app and re-add?

You should be able to adjust it back to 0

Do you have to have the gateway close to both sensors. I need to have one in greenhouse and another sensor in garage, they are about 100 feet apart.

Good question. I had mine in the garage fridge and plugged opposite side of house and worked. I think you’ll be fine.
