Review of my JJSK1 by Cudeman

Great video. Thanks for following through and doing this review of your Cudeman JJSK1 knife. It seems to be heavy enough for chopping and batoning. I prefer heavy, full tang knives as my primary knife, but smaller folding knives can be goo backups... That knife sure throws sparks well with that ferro rod.

Thrifty Survivor Yes I use it with small knives as well. After all that batoning it would be very hard to get it sharp enough for skinning so I always carry a sharp pocket knife with me. Thanks for your comment :-)

thanks! do you think it can hold up strong hard use on hard batoning and everything?is it heavy to sharpen? Is this a mix of scandy and flatgrind?

Yes it is definitily a strong knife for hard work although I am always careful with my knives and try not to abuse them too much😂The knife is heavy to sharpen, I can't really get it to be razor sharp but thats not what I need it for. For a normal sharpness it is easy to sharpen and yes I think it's a mixture of scandy and flatgrind.
