Does this library have legato versions of ensemble and solo instruments?

MY favorites by far. I use the Suite, Solos 2 and prepared piano. Very reasonably priced compared to Spitfire, etc and really fantastic samples.

All samples are from MSI (MOTU Symphonic Orchestra(released appx 15 years ago). So, MSI and Orchestral suite are 99% the same product. It's not a new product.

MOTU has "Both male and female soloist voices...included." & "two beautiful concert grand pianos...". It would have been easy for UVI to include soloists and a piano. Not the same products. Wish UVI had included a Soprano. I'm comparing Orchestral Suite to the new Amadeus Symphonic Orchestra. It's difficult to choose because both have unique features.

ThatsABiggon Hey, I checked their website, and it says Pro Tools 11+. So I'm guessing it is not compatible with PT9. Makes sense cuz that's when it moved to AAX. :(

Good Review! i have the IK Multimedia Miraslov Philarmonic, how does it compare to this UVI, would it be worth it to get this one too? i use it with Ableton Live 9.5 32bit with 16gb Ram i need an Orchestra plug-in for Film Sountrack!

I think it's worth having both. Options rule for composers and this doesn't cost a fortune.

Freaking amazing review ! Thanks a lot ! Very interesting product btw. Maybe one thing isn't really convincing after watching this video : Articulations. I mean transitions between notes doesn't sound natural to me. Anybody else has anything to say about it ?

Hi Robin. The articulations can be shaped with the envelope section. I could had spent more time varying these but I wanted to represent the sounds straight out of the box. Thanks for watching and thanks for the support. Dan

The legato of strings don't seem very natural IMO compared to other libraries I've heard the demo of like Berlin Strings. It's like there is a small swell in front of each note. However the cello ensemble played fast pulled it off effortlessly.

Comparing a decent everyday car with an exceptional car is just the same as what you did. Of course the quality is different and so is the price. Driving the everyday car is a non issue to most people. Should you have the proficiency and the cash go for the pricey libraries but this one is decent to begin with. It will not be carved in stone. When you can afford/get more proficient you can just upgrade to 8Dio libraries or alike. The only thing I personnally could be a bit short on is the choirs but the overall library is a nice starting point.

It should be. I'm using another library from them in FL Studio and in the product page it says compatible with FL Studio.

As somene else said - the strings, as demonstrated, are terrible; and being an organist, the demonstrated pipe organ was also terrible. There are better orchestral suites in the same price range.

i got this library, most of instruments sound ok, especially the solo brass & woodwinds do sound very good and are very usable (with some miticulous fine tuning in automation, expression ); but all strings and solo strings are very average, the most disappointing part is the 'glide and portamento' in solo strings, it sounds synthetic and it is a total disaster... shame on you, UVI!
