Review of Portable Camping Shower

I'm a year round wild-camper using either a bike and back-packing tent or a small campervan and I don't use campsites which means I have to be self-sufficient for everything, including showers.
This seemed rather too good to be true - a lightweight, non-bulky, compact shower with its own internal rechargeable battery so I was very keen try it out and took it camping for a week in October which also coincided with some unseasonably warm weather of 22°C - hence showers were very necessary, especially after cycling.
A 3 hour charge before leaving provided an easy four showers each of about 10 minutes duration and there was still battery power remaining. But, the real beauty of this is that it can be easily recharged while travelling via USB - whether via USB port or car 12V socket with USB adapter. For true off-grid use it can be powered via a powerbank.
As for performance, this is surprisingly good. I'd anticipated it might just produce a weak flow but it it's actually really good. During the hot weather, it provided a most refreshing shower using 3-4 litres per minute on its higher power mode and this equates to half of our 8.5kW 8l/minute domestic shower's flow rate hence impressive performance and power for a portable shower. A suction bracket is also supplied so the shower head can be mounted on a flat surface such as a tiled wall, side of campervan etc and with its 1.8m hose it can be positioned above head height for a conventional shower experience. A fast-drying net bag is provided for carrying the shower while traveling.
In addition to use for showering it can also be used for washing pets, washing dishes, watering the garden, washing the car, hosing down outdoor equipment after use in salt water or even as a water feature in the garden. The water source can be anything from a stream, pond, bucket or sink and it can be used with hot or cold water. Cleaning is simple too - just unscrew the base of the pump and rinse in clean water.
This portable shower has greatly exceeded my expectations, has become an essential part of my camping kit and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to other campers, especially campervan owners where it would be impractical to fit a shower into a van.

They also sell a set with an on/off knob/valve that is attached to the nozzle so you don’t have to reach in the bucket to turn the flow off if you want to lather your hair or let conditioner sit for a few minutes. They sell the valve separately too! Nice video!

A fair point but not everyone can lift a 20l bucket of water over their head (I certainly couldn't). However, if the shower works well pumping water up from 7' above its source then performance can only get better in peak conditions.
