Gustav Francl translated Nguyen Du's Tale of Kieu from the French translation of Nguyen Van Vinh, the print edition of Hoanh Son and Vinh Bao publishing houses in 1951-1952. This is a Czech translation in free verse, with shorter sentences than the French version by Nguyen Van Vinh, but preserving the content, keeping the number of sentences (3254 sentences), no captions and no numbering. the sentence.
