Yes, that is correct. The only restaurant that requires a reservation is the Hibachi table. You can still eat at regular tables without a reservation, you just can’t get the hibachi experience.

Yes, when I was there, they provided classic Mexican Coke in the rooms and throughout the resort. This version is made with real cane sugar.
