I thought you were about to disprove the 2TB amount....but really all you showed was your suggestion to not use it to transfer 2TB sized files onto it at once lmao like wtf...how bout you let buyers decide what's practical for themselves. But i guess thanks for confirming the USB actually has the advertised amount of space?

I see your point. That was my original objective. I copied 2 TB worth a data to prove that it actually had that much storage on such a small form factor, but it was taking so long to copy. A person can certainly decide for themselves if that will work for them. For me in the field, I need to know that if I have that much storage capacity, I can rely on using it in a reasonable amount of time measured in minutes not days. For me, the only way I see this much storage capacity the functional is if it is USB 3.0 or better. I just finished testing another Temu to terabyte stick. It’s the one that has both a USB type a and USB-C adapter. It was the same thing all over again. Slow USB 2.0 speeds make it highly unlikely it would ever be used in any setting that required it storage capacity.

Ehhhh always use Disk Utility to format the drive to one partition!!!!

I wasn’t looking to partition the drive from the start. I was looking to verify USB 3.0 throughout. The fun stuff would’ve followed if the speed test was validated.

Many USB flash drives have a partition with junkware. You must ensure it’s empty first. Also setting it to the correct file format for the OS you are running is important.

I see the issue here. He is running MAC.😂

Funny guy. Are you saying that I would have a full order magnitude higher throughput if I only connected this to a Windows PC? That would be a great selling point for Windows.
