Clear and to the point video.. Talking only about vibrations, can we say that 15T sprocket is a great alternative to Air filter ?
@harshit_chugh4 сағат бұрын
No, I'd say sprocket is the opportunity to move the vibrations issue from ~85kmph to about ~95 or 100kmph. It doesn't reduce vibrations. But the air filter genuinely reduces vibrations (although I haven't scientifically measured it). Both complement each other, get both if you can. But if you'd like to prioritise then sprocket first and air filter later.

Triumph has intentionally messed up this bike by giving 14T sprocket and those soggy front breakpads in the name of off road centricity. It totally isn't working out as they thought and are becoming a pain point. Almost every customer in the overseas have changed the sprocket and pads. Hope they listen and implement this changes factory fitted in the next iteration.

Hello Harshit, I also own Hness 350 since 3yrs now and done 42k kms. I have taken it to Ladakh, Spiti, Zanskar and sach pass. I also use it a lot for my daily office commute. As such, I m not facing any major issues in the Hness but now having slight itch to change it and m lot more inclined towards Scram 400x. My style of riding is relaxed with h’way cruising around 85-90kmph. Plz advise accordingly. Thanks bro.

Hello there a fellow Hness owner, and I got the chance to drive my buddy’s bike Scram400x for a month and I must say it’s one hell of a bike and the suspension is just too good. As iam also looking to upgrade iam considering the speed 400 and the guerilla 450 mainly for the ease of handling and seat comfort,Since Scrambler is very tall and hard to manuever in traffic plus the pillion seat is 💔

You have ridden it quite a lot. Happy riding! :) When I moved from Honda to this bike, some thoughts came to my mind; 1. Triumph somewhat feels like a bigger bike. And it looks better in my opinion, especially with touring luggage. When touring, I never took a 2nd look towards my CB350RS with a Rynox tail bag on it. The triumph is a killer in this department in my opinion (for my frame). 2. Triumph heats substantially more. This aspect might affect you if you take your bike to office. 3. Triumph has much shorter gearing (from the factory) but it’s still good in masking speeds (like the Honda, loved this aspect of it). 4. One of the biggest changes was suspension. And this was a really good feel. When I did Spiti - I was taken aback by how easy my job was with the Triumph. 5. Triumph HAS TORQUE! I have fairly torquey machines in my garage and Triumph was still able to make me smile like a child. Espc when on the highways, Honda is no match for the Triumph. Note that I am not saying CB350 is slow, just saying that the torque rush isn’t ever felt on it. 6. Triumph is more DIY friendly if you like that aspect. 7. Triumph is vibey! After all the reviews I had seen online I was disappointed to move from CB350 to all the vibrations. Speed to speed, if you want to cruise at 80 or 90kmph be ready to be disappointed with the stock Scrambler400x, because that’s exactly where vibrations start. 8. Lastly, Triumph is easy to scram on, expectedly. I have probably started doing higher average speeds than on my CB350 because of low end torque + suspension + saddling + higher BHP. You will not need to slow down often. But note that the characteristics of the Triumph brought the young me out, so my riding personality also changed. If you think you’d still be riding laid back, these changes will not be as pronounced for you as they were for me.

Which Air filter you've installed on scram 400x?

I’d like to see how that’s gonna make a difference on my white scrambie after first service. And I’m terribly concerned about my HORN. What should I do to make it Sound better? I ordered a HELLA Dual to check out and any recommendations please? Cheers

How comfortable is this bike on higher speeds , likely above 120 km ? Does it stress the engine ?

I experience majority of vibes between 90 to 110. Will the sprocket change solve this issue ?
@harshit_chughКүн бұрын
It will move them from 90 to about 105 and beyond. With an air fitler that I'm using, I have no vibration issues until 105 or 110 at cruising RPMs.

Why did you switch to this bike after you had cb350 rs ?
@harshit_chughКүн бұрын
Short answer is my use case changed. When buying the cb350 I didn't expect I'll be touring two times a year and would start wanting to do a little bit of offroading. The long answer will also include my opinion that the Honda lacked character for me, I cannot really explain this in detail but I just quickly got over the characteristics of the engine, within a few weeks. Example; Within 6 weeks I knew I wouldn't be able to keep it for 3+ years. While with the triumph in 6 months now, I'm liking it more than the last day. Just to be clear, its a good bike. But I think it is possible many people may outgrow it quickly.

@harshit_chugh I mean you captured good footage of Spiti..from what seems to be during the snowfall season. So in case you have enough scenes documented you can at least make a cinematic type travel video if not episode wise vlogs.

Its a scrambler its work is to scramble through the bad roads and dirt with the grunt it has. That is the one big reason why scrambler put smile on the face everytime and reason why you bought it. This bike is meant for soft offroads, broken roads of city and mountains. And for highways if 120 kmph touring speed works for you then it is good Highway machine too. Get a long windscreen and you are all sorted. Here is windscreen. Enjoy 😊. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpqphKh5YqeqpdEsi=0OuUSXGn0GKIyJEi

Brother you can easily get it from Triumph itself. Speed 400 comes with 15 teeth sprocket by default. And warranty issues with sprocket change. Sprocket cost is Rs 251.
