Pro is better, but the team is still very good.

When you can get the pros on sale for the team msrp, there’s no reason not to go pro. Boots retailing for $100 or less aren’t that good, unless it’s for a kid that outgrows them each season.

Hey, nice review! How is the sizing? If I’m a 41EU, and don’t like extra space in the toebox, should I go for 40 1/2 or 41 1/2 on the New Balance 442?

Personally I would go true to size, but with NB boots they seem to fit me really well. Plus I haven't had a lot action in these boots recently. Sorry I cannot, I haven't tried the academy’s yet. Although my guess is the soleplate will probably be the largest difference.

Not too bad! Because of how all the studs are conical. There's very little bite in the turf. Now you may get stud pressure though, although I personally have never got any.

Both have leather on the forefoot, and synthetic on the midfoot. Pro is slightly nicer but more expensive.

Er just double-check with your league officials first. I said it's made with a premium leather upper because that's what NB said, and usually, that means it's not kangaroo leather, but best to be safe than sorry.

Unfortunately I don’t have these on hand anymore, but the pro’s are lighter. Not that the teams are heavy but the pros are stupid light.

The pro might be, just as soft as kangaroo leather, the team is a calfskin. But booth boots will soften up nicely, to the point where you'll hardly notice a difference.
