Good review and opinion, pros and cons. I always connect a USB cable to my printers, so it was great that you showed the odd way the USB cable connects to this printer. I like that this printer has physical buttons that can be pressed and not just a touchscreen.

My use case requires very little printing. Will the ink nozzles get clogged after months of non-use? Also, will it copy/scan/fax even if a cartridge is empty?

I dont think you can coy a sheet of paper due to it requires ink! I believe you can still copy if its in black and white if you have that ink filled

An Amazon commenter says it took as much as 15 seconds to start printing, did you experience that?

Just got one. The printing takes over 9 minutes to print 1 page. What would the problem be?

Does the top auto feeder copy both sides ( reverse duplexing) on this model?

It only has 1 scanner, not 2. What you referred to are two different paper feeders for the same scanner.
