How much harder is it then a bike
@gaggag11523 жыл бұрын
it is mentioned to be 33% harder than bike riding. In my experience i suppose it is nearly 40% or even a bit more harder .... , but nevertheless it is much more healthy because of the straight riding position, the smooth movement of the legs, no hitting on the ground (how you do when jogging), no muscle tension in the wrists etc. Greetings from Germany!

Good workout for real workout people but the durability is a concern - already the track system is making noises a few months in - not sure how long it can handle an aggressive workout......

Got the 11R today. The thing's a beast. Amazing build quality. What a ride, it's just like running really fast! Way better than regular biking. Much better workout.

Still liking your 11R? I'm seriously considering one. I'm a long time runner (marathoner) prone to injuries the last few years so I've been hearing good things online about the elliptigos!
@petergromlich65293 жыл бұрын
@@marathonkev Yes I love the 11R. I also have an MSUB, but that's much less of a running motion. It's more grueling and can really put a strain on your back if you're not careful. The 11R is more of a running motion. It's very smooth and is great for long distances.

@@petergromlich6529 Thanks for your response! Been looking for a used one......Not much luck with that. I'll have to buy new if I want one!

How long do you think you could ride it for? Would it be comfortable for 4-5 miles.

Lol a 30 degree hill is a 58% grade. There's no way.
Nice review, but I have to correct you on one thing: 20" wheels do NOT make a bike--or an ElliptiGo slow. No way is this as efficient as a bicycle--with any size wheels. Last I checked, the 20" wheeled Moulton still held the land speed record for an upright bicycle, set in 1986. BTW, I own an ElliptiGo 8C model, too: Great workout--different muscle group--but don't expect to keep up with someone of your own fitness level on a bicycle.

I think the cyclist along side you was the one slowing down for you ? rather than the other way round ? but the eliptigo is an interesting niche no sit upright bicycle, probably much better match for human physiology.
