Any update on the gen 2? Contemplating this or the Opal

It is still running strong. A coworker has the opal and and after 6 months it was having a hard time making ice. I will have to ask him if he ever got it back to working 100 percent.

I have the black one. I love it ! It stopped making ice yesterday. I descale it monthly. I'm absolutely dying. Any ideas?

Write now we are using both to see and make sure we like the Gen 2 better than the Gen 1. But when I decide what we are going to do I will let you know.
