Review of Wurkkos Ts30s pro, comparison vs Ts30s, and Convoy L8. Drone shots of comparisons

I have both the ts30s and the pro, my pro tail cap only has one large spring but my v1 has the double spring. The v1 cap works on the pro but the pro cap doesn't work properly on the v1, it doesn't fully cover the gasket leaving it exposed from the bottom side. I do agree the pro is brighter but it also has a more pronounced dark spot in the center of the hot spot. I believe the pro is probably being given more current than the v1 because it heats up a bit quicker but the pro also cools down faster showing that it is better at dissipating heat. I'm not sure which one I'm going to keep and which one I'm going to sell, I have to mess around with them both a bit more. I'd like to see if anything can be done to improve the dark spot on the pro but I'm not sure it can with the gasket that is fit to the sbt90, I think I'm going to do the delense to the emitter and see if that improves it at all. I know a delense will improve the sbt90 performance but I don't think it would improve the dark spot though, that would have to be done with focusing the reflector but it would be tough with that fitted gasket. I might actually end up keeping my v1 and selling my pro, I love the size of the v1, it's a monster of a light that can still fit in a pocket.

Ya I noticed that too. The pro heat up so much quicker than my v1. Idk why. The body design is different. I can’t justify buying the pro, luckily my friend sent me his to test. I’ve heard a couple people that have the single spring in the pro and some have the double. I don’t think it makes too much of a difference. Thank you for watching

I noticed that the spill on the TS30 PRO is brighter than the TS30 as well. The L8 edges out the TS30 PRO but just barely so.

I don’t do the L8 enough justice. It’s a pretty big difference in person. Don’t get me wrong the pro is a beast!! Just not nearly as beastly as the L8

Hello and thank you for watching. They’re both great lights. You can’t go wrong with either one. The main difference is the battery. Single or double. If you need longer battery life, get the sp60, if you don’t get the ts30s pro. Best of luck

Mt70 mini. I have the mateminco Pd90s with sfn 55 and it’s pretty similar to the mt70 mini and it floods way more than the L8. The L8 puts out a ton of intense high candela light. The pd90s, check review in my videos has a much softer and floody beam. Thanks for watching

@@rogerandrade806 I wouldn’t say better, they both have their strengths and weaknesses. I’ll do a video on the 2 of them as I need to review both anyways. The l21b is half the price and throws further l, but it doesn’t produce as much light. Still the l21b with sft40 is 400k candela, the l8 is 534k cd

Хочу купить дальнобойный фонарь, и не один, что б был). Планирую брать на охоту поиграться в поле. Для близких дистанций есть маленький Fenix. Думаю, что Wurkkos Ts30s более практичен, чем L8: меньше на 2 и 3 см,, популярные батарейки. Скажите, пожалуйста, рефлектор Convoy L8 поместится в карман зимней куртки?

The L8 is much brighter! Considerably brighter. If you want a small thrower I would recommend the convoy L21b w/sft40. If you want the most powerful out of all of these I’d recommend the 3x21d with buck driver. The sbt90.2 led is too powerful for one 21700, the battery only lasts a hour. Either way these are all really good choices

The L8 is more powerful than the ts30s pro, but it is a big light. Really big. 2x as big as the wurkkos. Honestly it all depends on what you need it for, but the wurkkos is so much easier to carry around and relatively close to the L8 in brightness. The L8 can hold turbo much longer, doesn’t get nearly as hot and has a bigger battery. What do you need it for?

I already have a matemico mt70 mini sfn 55.2 I know that the l8 is superior to the ts30s pro so I don't know if it's worth 20 dollars more, is there a very noticeable difference between the two in terms of flooding and range?

@@juniorjr5141 if you want crazy power go with the L8. It’s worth $20 extra bucks. Like I said, it is big and batteries can be hard to find, but I love mine. You honestly can’t go wrong with either one, but if I had to choose one, I’d keep my L8

No comparison between this light and the Sofirn Q8 Plus light. The Q8 can maintain 7000 lm for 4.5 hours and runs on 3-21700 5000mah cells for the same price. With a 16000 turbo step.

What are you talking about? The q8 cannot maintain 7500 lumens, maybe for 60 seconds and then it drops down. Also this and the q8 are completely different lights. These are throwy lights, q8 is a flood light

Kind of a weird comment. You don’t need to be rich to have a flashlight. There’s a lot of companies that will pay for the light after you leave a review on amazon.
