Review & On-Feet: Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Black Toe" (2016)

In celebration of the day that the NBA banned Michael Jordan's sneakers from the league, key Jordan Brand accounts surprise released the Jordan 1 "Black Toe" 2016 retro on October 18, weeks before the general release date of November 5th that everyone expected! Being able to grab my pair thanks to Livestock, I give my two cents on this iconic colourway and how it stacks up to some of the other recent Jordan 1 releases.

They have a stitching flaw on these pairs if you look at the stitching on the side where the Nike sign is, the stitching is higher on the left pair than the right pair.

I stick to the big box retailers, Nike.com, Footlocker, etc. Some sites are offering "pre-orders" but I basically don't mess with those as you never know if they're unauthorized pairs, fakes, etc.

With them dropping the lows and canceling the reimagined pair, I would def recommend looking into finding a good pre owned pair. I recently picked up a preowned pair basically in DS condition for about 450 and they are amazing. I have no doubt I’m going to get at least a few more years out of these. Also imo that 2016 shape is the best shape released
