I bought that same car because I watched your video but for some reason I can't get mine to do the 88 miles an hour sound effect? And I watched your video. You hit the time circuits once to turn it on and twice to set it. I do that and shut the door. Nothing happens

Mine has the same issue, the seller made a video testing an another one that was exactly the same. now it is nearly 8 years after launch so someone is either re-manafacturing them with errors (missing sound effects) or now the faulty ones are getting sold for some indecent profit by AliExpress sellers.

It is a common mistake in reassembled, all the ones on ebay and aliexpress are, a seller of those vehicles on ebay told me that hotwheels stopped manufacturing them many years ago and the parts were resold to Chinese factories which reassembled them and in their defect they reproduced some pieces to complete the models, mine also has that defect, and so almost all of them come with that defect, it is very lucky that the one you bought comes working 100%, but there is nothing else to do but wait Let an original one come out on ebay for sale...

Make sure to close the doors well. There is a contact at the base where the corner of the car door makes contact with and that initiates the 88 mph sound effect.

Does the Vacuum tubes accessory (Back To The Future III) stay on the hood with the magnet? I've seen some where the magnets are reversed so it repels instead of attaching to the hood like it's supposed to...
