I have seen a few builds without the trim, and they do look good. I particularly like the ones with lights at the top. Perhaps next time I will do it differently. Thanks for watching!

Hi Justine, the cabinets are made of wood. They are not fiberboard. Let me know if you have further questions. I'd be happy to answer them.

When you say inventory everything, do you mean open all the boxes and ensure all the bits and pieces are present?

Yes, this seems to be the suggestion most folks are going with. It is tedious, but this seems to be the most accepted practice.

Hi Jive, do you have 8' ceilings? If so, how did you fit crown molding on top of the taller uppers? Did you reduce the space above the cabinets?

The cabinets were fully fit and not modified at all. The crown molding sits on top of the cabinets.

Worked on a unit where the couple decided to get a Bosch instead. They didn't want this unit so they gave it to me for free. :)

Are they solid wood doors or mdf centers what are they made from ?

They are definitely not MDF. I don't see how that can be used for cabinets, as MDF absorbs water like a sponge. They seem to be made of pine wood.

So, bottom line, you didn't inspect and inventory the delivery as you're supposed to do with ANY product, and didn't follow through with issues that arose? And then you take to YT to complain about them during Covid? I have no skin in the gave with them or any other RTA company, I'm currently shopping around for cabinets in fact, but you have to be fair - you (or your GC) is the end user and is responsible for reporting these issues to the company in a timely manner otherwise they can't correct them. Every company wants their customer to be happy, but they can't hold your hand the whole way to make it happen.

I did follow up with the issues that arose, and they sent me the wrong items. Please make sure you watch the whole thing. Also, this was during the beginning stages of COVID, so lockdowns are pauses weren't in effect yet., making it a poor excuse.

If I pay for 10 cabinets, I expect to get 10 cabinets. If this is something that is common in this industry, then it needs to improve.
