The video look very good good Job. For me this is the best looking review for the GH7 on youtube, very professional, thanks. But sadly not the hole video was filmed with the GH7. I'm more impressed with the BTS recordings than with those of the GH7. This was probably shot with the S5IIX. You can also see a big difference in the dynamic range from 11:08. But overall another big step for MFT.

As a GH6 user I think the image at 11:08 is more likely to be a user error. It definitely has enough dynamic range for those shots. Besides, if you look at Gerald Undone's dynamic range chart test, it scored 12 stops at SNR=2, that's 1 stop better than Canon R5C, on par with Nikon Z8, half a stop behind FX3 and S5 (according to CineD database) , and also 1 stop better than GH6. Half stop in real life? not that easily noticeable.

Hello! Due to having a pre-production sample with a short amount of time to review, we stated that the camera has internal 32bit float audio recording. This feature is only available via the XLR2 interface. The 32 bit float does not work with the internal microphone, so you would need this interface and an external microphone to use this feature. Fantastic video, I'm likely moving back to MFT from my current S5II. I'm shooting a lot of wildlife and the weight difference is huge where lenses are concerned. I'd probably opt for a couple of good 1.4 prime lenses too.

You scored the image quality 9/10 for LUMIX G9 II and 7/10 for the GH7. Both use the same sensor. GH7 just added features. What‘s the reason to score so differently ?

Hi Philip - The G9 II is significantly lighter than the GH7 which means you can shoot for a lot longer with it if you like walking around with a camera! Alongside, the G9 II has 8 stops of stabilization compared to the GH7's 7.5 stops of IS. The GH7 also has less focus points. While the GH6's maximum photographic dynamic range (PDR) measured at 8.79, per testing, the GH7 tops out at 10.17. The GH7's performance is lower than that of the more stills-oriented G9 II (10.54). Wow, Palermo! I who am Italian from Rome have never been to Palermo. I own several Panasonic m43 and L-mount. Nice footage, really. Were they all made with GH7, even when you had GH7 in your hand? I liked the colorimetry, I don't think you used the new Lut from Arri. Regarding the autofocus I noticed a breath of the lens that can't focus.

It's pretty neat right? The Arri colour science definitely excels but wasn't available when we had the pre-pro model. We shot some on the S5IIX but both cameras worked a treat.

The low-light capability is about the same. The smaller sensor gives it quite good low-light. It's not as good as the FF cameras in their range though.

The ISO test in low light just shows me that people who badmouth Micro Four Thirds as being incapable don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. Also the better IBIS of MFT cameras would offset a lot of the difference in low light as well. I’d always take the smaller lenses and overall lower system weight. It does the job very well.

I have watched many reviews of the GH7 but your is super amazing, because of that I have subscribed to your channel. The location is excellent and image quality with grading is superb. The low light test shows the improvements in m4/3 system. I do like to ask if the market square especially the tomatoes footage is shot on GH7 or on another camera?

Some errors in your specs... But the footage looks great. You look absolutely lovely in that red. Just add some strappy, black sandals to complete the look. I've never really been motivated to buy a GH series camera... My G9 does enough. But this might be the first. The footage from your shoot really won me over....
