I have Phillips hue lights all over the house and I use the wake up routine when I need to start work at 5:30am. Honestly I'm less of a morning person than most and this actually helps me wake up to be in a much better mood. Eases me into it!

A bit large! Interesting concept though, waking up w/ a simulated sunrise. Erin, when I was working I got up at 5 AM; cannot imagine what it would be like to have to get up any earlier, esp on a cold Winter's day!

can you set the clock to light only? like no sound and once it comes to full brightness does it just stay on? or does it shut off on its own? the last clock i had came to full brightness and then shut off after 2 minutes.

Yes you can. And yes the light does stay on. There’s actually an option to snooze the sound only when the alarm starts ( I use the birds chirping) and the light stays on until I switch it off in the morning no matter how many times I hit snooze

Yes, I think it is. But their newest model the Smartsleep Connected, which I review here on the channel, also has the ability to set multiple alarms using the app. That would be ideal for a couples getting up at different times.

Can this work as a light therapy lamp as well? I’m up well before the sun rise & have seasonal affective disorder. Budget & “table space” won’t allow for 2 devices. Nor do I particularly want more things to plug in.

Erin Lawrence can I ask what makes this one better? I’m just curious because the other model is the more expensive one said to be brighter with extra features. I’m trying to decide which model to get >.< I really appreciate you making this video and replying to me! Edit: I’m trying to compare this model to the HF3650/60 model. They had a chart on amazon showing the extra features of the 3650 vs the the 3520 and it shows quite a few things. So that’s why I was curious why you think this one is the better pick.

alright I know that this is an old comment but.. I think it can wake you up with sound and when you'll take off mask you'll see bright light filling your room what can be nice and energizing :')
