I have the electric model and I am surprised how much better it seems to work without tearing the eggs. Being able to turn it slow and at a more controllable speed when doing it by hand seems like a good idea. I have issues of the whites tearing. Might have to try one of these!

Just might have to get me one of these. Wonder if they have them for regular chicken eggs - I suck at peeling chicken eggs.

It's probably too small but I'll try it. The problem might also be pulverizing the chicken egg shell. It's easy for the quail eggs though.

@@HappyWifeAcres Yes the quail eggs have the inner rubbery layer that make this possible so chicken eggs are a no go with this type machine.

This little device is really amazing though. I'd eat much less boiled quail eggs without it.
