I do see other elevated versions, one comes with a remote control which you use to switch colors, and another that can be connected to a phone app and you can scroll in a color scheme to adjust the light to however color you wanttt - pls do a review on the latter it seems SO COOL

If you buy a Sunset lamp with remote then there would be a button with colour white where there would be "W" written on it and if you will press it then white light will come on .. hope that was helpful

To turn it on you can rather press a button from The USB port or u can either on it from the sunset remote :)
