Does a CO2 Jolt make sense to you, or is this just a step towards better pressurized blasters? Let us know what you think down below!
@grapeapeductape24893 жыл бұрын
CO2 is inapplicable to nerf as it is just an extra thing to pay for. With all of the good springers that have come out these seem pointless.

This would have been killer a decade ago. Back before anybody knew what k26 was, before stock blasters reliably hit 70 fps, when we were all rocking nitefinders with rubber bands stretched around the priming handle, these would have competed pretty favorably with the best modded pistols you were likely to see at any Nerf war.

Good review, you touched on all points I was curious about! While I don't personally see any good use from them, I could see the usefulness for someone who might not have the ability to prime a blaster or doesn't like flywheels, yet still want to fling foam. But that statement rings pretty flat, after seeing you 're-gassing' the blasters, which looked like it could take some effort. Also, the look of them is not really that great. One could always make a ''shroud'' or something to break up the look to something more cartoonish or sci-fi but then again, that would probably take way more time and effort (and I'm guessing money) to do than would be necessary, seeing as it is a single shot blaster.
@Nerfamus2 жыл бұрын
A mag fed version of this would be a awesome as a sidearm. I love the hammer shot because it can fire it one handed. Something like that but I never have to prime would be great

rekt is from umarex, which produces airsoft, airgun, and paintball guns, they also have like 2 dart guns (this is one of then, the other is an ar15 shaped rifle). their guns are pretty high quality for me at least. I got my umarex brodax revolver just last week and i’m loving it so far definitely check them out if you’re interested in airsoft or air guns!

Don't mean to be 'that guy' but that blue is lighter than the blue color of standard 'trainer' firearms. It can't really be misconstrued as a firearm itself in that instance. Either way, it's kinda terrible as a first attempt. Gas-powered works well on airsoft pistols because you either get a lot of shots from CO2 (with a standardized performance), or green gas charged mags, which also perform just as well, and are easy to recharge.
@JaretOnYoutube3 жыл бұрын
Does it matter that the blue is “light enough”? For all a police officer knows it’s a gun that’s been painted or 3d printed and as Luke pointed out, in certain light conditions you won’t really see how much of a bright blue it is. I think the colors are probably good enough that the shape won’t matter, but who really wants to push the “will this get me shot” line?

I'd rather modify a jolt to be honest, just putting an upgrade spring (4.5kg seems to be the only jolt spring upgrade out there), 17/32 brass and air restrictor removal. With that you can get 90fps (from what I heard) Soo no CO2 for me it's dangerous and not easy to use.
@TheRealLemongrab3 жыл бұрын

@SpencerPaire3 жыл бұрын
This feels strongly like it came from a company that designs for the Paintball community. The low FPS is a bit weird, but the realistic profile would never come from a blaster designer in the nerf community, and the use of CO2 really feels like a paintballer concept rather than an airsoft concept (I know many airsoft guns use CO2). And the fact that it seems very specifically engineered for the 100/200 shot limit makes it seem like they didn't know this blaster's place in a Nerf game (I'm extrapolating a bit, but where I see a single shot CO2 pistol working is as a high-power hand cannon. Something you'd use for opportunistic "sniping" from the back line, or as an oh s#$t blaster when your primary is out. And for that, a higher power/fewer shot blaster would be better.) That said, I've not played much paintball, but I played airsoft as a kid, so I was around paintball for a bit.

Yeah, I can see that it was a neat Idea but id doesn't have an advantage over anything else while costing £ each time you fire. Range, not exceptional Fire rate, nothing to write home about Style, restricts its usage, Cost, fair for what it is but not great compared to alternatives. Unless you have a need to have a no prime blaster, in which case the gas reload is going to be tricky, I dont see the market.

rekt got rekt son. zinc, mark 2, gecko, even a worker cheetah 2 would stomp all over this. even a modded big shock, firestrike, or knockout would best this thing. i fail to see any benefit of not having to prime, if you still have to single muzzle load every shot.
@Foostini3 жыл бұрын
Yeeeaaah i'm not really jazzed about it looking exactly like a firearm and i don't think CO2 should have a place in the hobby, both to prevent crossover with Airsoft/Paintball and because, while these don't perform well, i don't think we should be pushing for max FPS via gas and air. I know people have been making HPA/compressed air nerf blasters for years but i feel like the pursuit of higher FPS should be with things like springs and flywheels, things integral to the hobby to begin with and things that can have drawbacks, at the very least more stable ones than possible tank ruptures exploding cartridges or what have you. I'm not strictly against them but i feel like it's pushing the envelope of the more kid-friendly, less painful hobby out of the three. That said, i think this has some neat designs, like the reloading gate for the cartridges. Not the most efficient or fast solution but it's unique. As well $40 is honestly not bad for a unique, out-there blaster, not a great bargain as you say, but not terrible when we've got blasters hitting triple digits and being somewhat prohibitive.
@ziploc20003 жыл бұрын
I'm not seeing the point. If I can get better performance with a regular spring , why would I use an air-powered blaster? Plus, it only fires one dart at a time. And long darts at that. Meh.
