REVIEW: Renegade FPV's 'Slammed' Shendrones Squirt! - BEST Cinewhoop Drone of 2022!

This FPV drone really surprised me! Cinewhoops have improved so much in the last few years and the flight characteristics are so much better than they used to be. Renegade's Slammed Squirt has instantly become my number one drone for cinewhoop style commercial shoots!

Great review, the slammed squirt was a cinewhoop game-changer for me, turned an awkward drone that gets knocked about by the slightest breeze in to a super stable tool that is also fun to fly. Even better that they are now available as rtf in the UK, as the whole build process previously required quite some effort, not to mention access to a 3d printer! Good to see you back on the KZbin. 🤙

Hi Matt, is that on BF 4.3 yet? If so (ok even BF4.2 - I'll convert) could you kindly share full dump (not diff) on pastebin, please? I have Cinelog35, with BF4.3 it became at least controllable, but nowhere near that on video... Wanna compare settings could be just me... I was looking for cinematic drone and got just a wobbly shaky nonsense.

Good review of what looks to be a nice well built piece of kit... Was this the 6s version and what size battery and flight time did it achieve. The only issue I have with these ducted fan type Quads (and yes prop guards of this type act like ducted fans) is the noise level they produce. I have an HD Geprc Cinerun which flies great.. with about the same noise level as this (judging by what I'm hearing on your video... And a HD Taycan which flys OK but the noise level on 5 bladed props is horrendous. I am tempted to give this a try... But will have to wait a few weeks as I've just purchased an iflight Nazgal Evoque HD which is awesome.

Ooo sounds like you’ve got some good gear there. I know what you mean about the noise but it’s definitely way better with 6 or even 8 blade props. The packs I was flying were Tattu 1050mah 6S and I was getting 3-5 mins depending on how hard I flew. I think with fresh packs and a lighter GoPro, flight time could be pretty good.

What was that structure you were flying around it had a cool look to it ?

It’s called Bellmount Tower and was built about 300 years ago to serve as a viewing platform for the Belton estate and surrounding area

I think that most people would love to invest in one of these as its being built in the UK ...However its expensive. Albeit on par with the top end of what Chinese are currently pumping out ...so i fear due to the current economic situation... you may well struggle to be profitable ...which i think will be a shame... None the less ..well done and good luck.

@@heliharris69 ​ Hi Mick, thank you for your feedback it is genuinely appreciated, especially as price was a big discussion point internally. Given the components, parts, 3D prints and build time £500 is the absolute lowest we could get the unit cost. In comparison to other suppliers and other slammed squirt builds, we are still cheaper. especially when you take into consideration that ordering from the US carries with it hefty shipping fees let alone the customs and import tax you get hammered with.

I've no doubts at all about the quality... performance and reliability of your products.. and you chose well in giving this review to MagicFPV... Who in my humble opinion has the same "NO Bullshit" approach as your company. I've seen the price of Quads almost double over the past 2-3 yrs and I know that it's extremely difficult to build something of quality that is competitively priced and generates a worthwhile profit to survive.. especially against the big players in the game in such a difficult economic climate. Soon as my finances allow I will support you (Only last week i dug deep for another freestyle Quad) so can't justify another just yet. 😔

I'm in the process of ordering one of these from the lads at RenegadeFPV, and living in OZ, our conversion rate is a bit of a killer. Nevertheless, when I compared the current offering from the US, their parts aren't as good as the UK build, the cost is ultimately more, and the passion behind the Renegade team ticked my final box.
