This isn't the first though. Jiren and DBS Brolys are 3.0, Super Buu has 3.0 knees and if I remember correctly torso too, Jujutsu Kaisen figures are 3.0 etc.

I just love your detailed reviews ! A little bit of shading on the upper body and the pants would have been perfect. Still this Goku looks incredible. I always loved the design of the SS4 😅

Why does it need shading painted on? It’ll naturally have shadow and you can change where it is depending on how you light it.

Because shading makes the figure look way better. Look at the skin tone on the dragon Ball super full power broly for example

My only complaint about him is his scale. Ssj4 Goku is about a foot taller than his other forms. Otherwise, amazing looking figure, cant wait to review him myself! Nice review!

Yes, my favorite form of goku is here. I don’t care if he’s not cannon because this is the most u unique form goku has imo. None of that dyed hair only crap. Full body transformation.

They honestly ruined the ssb form. They over used it even though this was basically gokus strongest form at the time. But thank God for its new design in the broly movie and how goku transformed into it really showed how powerful this form really is. One of my favorite transformations

The promo pics did a good job at hiding that horrendous new gappy crotch design. Other than that, it seems pretty solid. Also, the belt looks like it might be upside down on yours.

False advertising with the clear application of a matte coat. People will be disappointed when they find he's unpainted and glossy all over like most DB figuarts.

Hi, I have a few QC issues with my figure (expected as much since it is made in Vietnam). The joints of my figure are slightly loose, not so loose that it can't hold poses, but I am slightly concerned how it will hold up over time. On mine there is a slight bit of red paint on his torso and the hair still has some bits left on it from where it has come out of the mold. Every face plate (bar the face it came installed with) has a very tight fit and looks as if it doesn't slot in properly. The hair piece that you take out to swap faces also fits quite loose (overtime it may have difficulty remaining in place). His head is also quite loose (moves quite easily). This is a very good figure, the modelling is on point, plenty of accessories and pretty good articulation (even though the legs can't go back). However, like with most of the dragon ball sh figuarts line it's a bit of a lucky dip in terms of quality control especially since this one is made in Vietnam (nearly all of my figures made in Vietnam suffer from poor QC control and joint issues). Hope this helps.

They're going to have to there's only 3 more Goku's (excluding the DBSSH movie one ) they can make lol. Them being DBS Bardock, Turles, & Xeno Goku, besides them what Pseudo SSJ Goku which I highly doubt they'll give us.

Nah, SSJ4 Goku is actually out of scale a little bit. SSJ4 Goku is actually taller than regular Goku.

At least a month possibly two months later. Global freaks is based in south america and they get their stuff dead last sometimes. But it's definitely worth it for the cheaper price compared to PB

The fact that hes the same size and same proportions as every other Goku kills it for me. SS4 is supposed to be long and sleak. This boxy variant just doesn't capture the form well enough for me to justify a premium price point.
