I have to concur that the Lutron shades are the quietest smart shades out there. I have shades controlled by Somfy and the motor is pretty loud. I have 3 shades in my kitchen/den area and 1 in my living room. I paid at least 2500.00 for them. Motorized blinds don't come cheap. If you are going to put then in a bedroom Lutron makes sense for sound issues! Great vid as always!!

I do LOVE my Serena shades. They are so quiet and fast and I love all the different colors they come in. So much easier to install then my other Bali shades. And the Lutron Remotes matches my other Lutron remotes and fits in a standard faceplate that looks great on the wall. The Bali remotes are small and don't look great and don't hang well on the wall. They easily fall off when trying to activate them. I will definitely get more Lutron shades in the future.

I wish you can do some video on wired ones and show us how to run wires, instead of battery operated

Hi, can you please provide your professional opinion on whether I should install two side-by-side equal width blinds, or one blind for a 82-inch wide kitchen window ? Thanks!

Great video. One question is on your comment on fabric fascia. Can you explain why you would have preferred that versus the metal one? Debating the same choice right now and hard to decide

Definitely seem like great shades, but dang, sticker shock. Then again, when I compare it to what I pay for rent in Manhattan, it somehow seems more tolerable. If I’m paying this much for my apt, I may as well pay just a bit more and make it nice.

I had water damage in the apartment that has Serena shades. Can these be repaired or are they to be replaced? Any suggestions on replacements for zip code 10016 is greatly appreciated. Great video thank you

How is the battery life? I saw a video by Serena that appeared to have smart sun blocking, any chance you know of or have experienced this feature?

I put batteries in it a year ago, it’s still going

Mine doesn’t use smart sun blocking, but I could set timers

These shades are super reliable, lutron is the best. One minus of why I didn't get them is they're battery operated. I went with tilt shades or "mysmartblinds" roller shades. Solar charged no touch. But.. the company itself and their products are very unreliable. If only lutron had that I'd rip the ones I have and get serenas

They do sell a wired option as well!

@@Justin_tech wires coming from second floor window down to an outlet? No thank you! Don't get me wrong, Lutron is great, I have their hub and close to 60 switches picos etc, their customer service is great as well, products are super reliable! I have so many automations with lutron devices, it's crazy how reliable they are. But in my case where I have few windows so high up with no access without a scaffolding, had to go a different route. In an apartment I would have chosen serena for sure.
