I am watching 3 years in the future of when this video was uploaded. I just got the gradient strip for my new TV and sync'd it using the my new Samsung TV has the hue app for purchase. and I already had a hue bridge from 3 years ago that only controls 1 small lamp in my kids bedroom. just a white bulb. I will say my TV setup is now sick with the hue strip on my new TV all mounted in my new entertainment center. I wouldnt mind adding some hue items else ware but I dont know where it will work for my place.

Only one of the 3 bulbs that came as a package shows up. Done all the trouble shooting. People don't buy this you can get color lights that work for much cheaper.

I bought Philips Wiz lights recently and there's Bluetooth logo on the box, next to the WiFi logo. Does it work on Bluetooth only after initial pairing via WiFi? I don't want too many devices connected to my WiFi network.

Can we use existing third party Zigbee wall modules instead of the new Hue wall module and pair this directly (without a bridge) with the Hue switch? For someone who already had many third party modules deployed it just doesn't make sense to spend even more to replace them, especially since the Hue ones don't look like they can be wired in.

Festavia, as with all other Philips Hue lights, is simply too expensive. I've been using Philips Hue since it first came on the market, and over the years, they've been too expensive; simply because there was no competition from when Philips Hue started. But now, when it comes pouring in with bulbs and light options from lots of manufacturers, it is only a matter of time before Philips has to lower the prices, or they will simply be outcompeted. Look at Twinkly, which is way, way ahead of Philips Hue's Festavia, has a lower price, and a product that is light years ahead of Philips.
