Review - Shimano XTR RT-MT900 Center lock Rotors

I have 6 bolts rotors system now and want to come back to centerlock. Is so much easy. I know the 6 bolts system have some better technical points, but in the real world the centerlock are superior, for me at least. I liked taking off the rotors easily when I wash the bike, when servicing the hubs, when lubricate and give maintenance to the transmission.

Thinking about getting them. Will they fit on the new xt calipers 4piston brakes?

im pretty sure all the shimano icetech rotors will fit the XT or XTR brakes. only thing is the size of rotor fitting ur caliber mount other then that u should be fine!!! Meaning if u had a 160mm rotor and now wanna use a 1800mm then u will need an adapter but besides that all MTB rotors will fit almost any set of standard MTB brakes for the most part..! Im using Shimano icetech MT-800 rotors on my Sram Level T Brake set and works perfect.... ;)

why would you put the big one on the front and little one in back. Looks like shit. Atleast get the same size rotors.

You’ll lock up your wheels if you squeeze both levers with the same force, larger front rotor feels more balanced
