I can understand why he said that Changi Internation Airport isn't the best as many parts of the airport are empty. This is because they are currently renovating the airport with new features and upgrades for both tourist and its citizens.

Malaysia Airlines offers at least a pack of peanuts. Smaller regional Malaysian carriers such as MASWings and Firefly offer little cakes too.

definitely agree - while Singapore's Changi Airport is nice, its isn't the best in the world.. for one thing, its so difficult to find good quality vegan food in the transit area. Its all low quality options. And yes, no one likes to pay for seat assignments.. that is free on other airlines I fly on here in the U.S.
