Between the squiddy, and triton v2, I have VERY high hopes for the Nautilus v2 which is on the way in the EXACT materials I wanted. So excited. I was using rem oil for lubrication for the longest time, it works great. But I just got some thick Carbon Honey and maaan I'm sold.

Very nice, I recently had to get new trainer. Sadly someone stole my daughter's bear & son trainer, we replaced it with a lucha. I should have gotten one of these though, only because the kraken has caught her eye now.

Bro, shipping prices to NZ is absolutely crazy, like I bought a squiddy b and half the price was the shipping

@@Vanta444 yeah man the shipping price gets added on to the all up price of the higher end balis (at least thats how it was last time i checked) so it just makes them more expensive than they actually should be. When Squid first gave the option to ship to NZ it was like $200+ for shipping alone, so it has def got better. Im thinking of picking up a Nami trainer in the future 🤔

when is on bushing should i immediately put some lubricant after unboxing? i just bought my first legit balisong and its this one

I lube my balis maybe once every 1 or 2 days if that helps :)

@@J.me.flip5 I got the Armed Shark Kraken V3 recently (sorry for clone..) and I am pretty sure it comes with a little lube from the factory. Should I remove that before applying new lube because I don’t want different oils to mix? (I do really prefer to not take the Balisong apart, I did it once on another model and it was literal nightmare to get it back together)

@@sebrukai3337 It's Most likely that the lube that is already in it is the same stuff as what they included. you should be fine to lube it without taking it apart but make sure that the stuff is actually lube. I saw a guy a while ago that thought he had lube but it was threadlocker. Bro tried lubing his bali with it and the handles wouldn't budge

@@J.me.flip5 I have come to the conclusion now that I’ll make the investment and fine tune the bushings. This will stay my only Balisong so I want to be very happy with it. Nonetheless thanks for the recommendation. And OMG I mistook the Loctite with lube at first as well but didn’t actually use it, must be a pain in the ass do clean the Bali after such an accident.

Probably a paint scratch somewhere or something along those lines, nothing that would affect the flipping

@shagoom1580 Blem models from squid come with minor cosmetic defects like discolouration in the handles and the odd mis-printed logo. My Krake Raken is actually a blemished model and all that was wrong with it was a tiny little discolouration on the blade. They’re definitely a great option for blokes like me who wanna save money
