this time around the Silverado and Denali look different, the Silverado is sharp too, iam a chevy guy but I have owned a gmc truck before too, but anyways if I do get a new truck it will be the Denali for sure.

Hikmatullah for sure...very well thought out truck. Although only a few differences I’d take it over the Silverado

First off, Happy Thanksgiving man! The truck does indeed look classy, but I prefer the look of the burgundy AT4. The interior is the biggest negative for me. I understand GM wanting to make it straight forward, but in a truck costing this much, I expect something special.
@PrimeAutotainment6 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Schmidt Happy Thanksgiving to you too! Once again, I’m totally with you in Looks with the AT4 lol. Excellent point on the interior too...I was so surprised to see it when it first came out and the fact that it’s still not special in the Denali trim is a disappointment. Thanks for watching!

I hope you had a Great Thanksgiving Nolan. When I see a Review from Nolan, my frown turns upside down. haha. Just kidding I am always in a good mood except we got a 1 star review for guests who had to wait almost 30 minutes on Good Friday that walked into a full house and a waiting line. I LOVE the exaggeration that people when they are in a BIG rush to go no where. I was in the McDonalds drive thru a few days ago at 9:30am. 5 cars in front of me at the window and no one moved for 15 minutes. I didn’t run to write a bad review I left. With the invention of Social Media and hiding behind keyboards it can bring the worst out of people sometimes not stopping to think what’s really bothering them. Thanks for listening ;)

Oh I replied and did nothing but apologize like a fool and told them I would of done anything to make them happy but they were already up and had their coats on and I didn’t want to cause a scene as we were packed. In past experience some people like the world to know and they put their spin on it to make us look bad. I am constantly interviewing always looking for KEY people and through this process I hear all the nightmare stories from place to place including major chains. And then the stories match up with others who have said the same thing I have to assume there is some truth to these stories and I have heard such terrible situations and working conditions and drugged up Bosses and “Chefs” or allow drinking and smoking in the kitchen and owners who are terrible with servers and touchy feeling with the girls and cross contamination and serving spoiled food. I have heard so many stories and many are chains like the Long Horn, Apple Bees,. Fast Food, Mom and pop places that I have stopped going out to eat myself knowing the oldest person in these kitchens is under 20 and has no clue about cooking just follows screens in front of them. Tells them what to do and what time to flip. But what it don’t teach is sanitation and food handling and even if they take the course that is required they don’t listen out of laziness. We have a open kitchen and have always put safety first and cooking techniques the proper way to handle food and store food with labels, and dates. First in and first out rule. I tell all my help if you wouldn’t eat it then we don’t sell it. And if you are not sure about something throw it out. We check and recheck make sure things are wrapped and clean constantly. That’s because I/We take great pride in our product and our guest experience. We always try and exceed it. That’s how we roll. what angers me is hearing these terrible things about the other places and NO ONE ever posts negative against these places. And I hear these same stories over, and over. Seems like I am a target for doing things right? I dunno.
@PrimeAutotainment6 жыл бұрын
Wow man I appreciate the information on the other places. I’ve never worked In the food industry but I can only imagine. I think you’re right about the target thing...I feel like people’s mentality and thoughts about chains are totally different than other places and they might be more motivated to critique or be harsh at a different place. Who knows what’s going through peoples minds though. All you can do is all you can do. What’s the name of your place?

Great review - thanks. I’ve got a 2015 Denali that I’m very happy with and I’m not sure if there’s enough to make me upgrade. One surprise is that I have power pedals in mine - why would GM remove this? I am a GM fan but agree that GM has to step up its game given the amount it charges - like adaptive cruise.
@PrimeAutotainment5 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! I know what you mean...not sure I would want to upgrade from the one you have and I’m not sure why they removed those lol..I was puzzled. The absence of adaptive cruise is odd too. Thanks for watching!

I bet that thoughtful reviews like this one are taken apart by manufacturers to make changes to future products. Don't know what GM will do re: interior design, which many think is pedestrian. But there are certainly changes they can make to bump up their competitiveness.

Can you do a review on the Ram 1500 Limited and then compare the features of that with the Denali?
@PrimeAutotainment5 жыл бұрын
I actually tried back when I had this...I don’t have access to any Rams which is a shame. If I do then I’ll try to get a comparison with them!
@aimtrue45405 жыл бұрын
I know it is personal taste but I hate those half squared off wheel wells.. as for people complaing about Rams screen, trucks are now more than just work vehicles, they are quasi-luxury people movers bought by all sorts of folks...thats why they have work truck versions and something like this Denali, time to get over it...as for Fords Ecoboost V6 haters, that motor is a beast and will smoke a truck with a V8...

Why is that wood trim on EVERY model? Even the Elevation model...
@JS-xi1pi5 жыл бұрын
Just a word of caution - the new 2019 Silverado-Sierra twins can’t be ordered or does Not come with the power brake and foot pedal adjuster. This is normally a pretty standard option for most trucks (GM, Ram, Ford)...I own a 2017 Silverado, but some “bean counter” within GM axed this very useful feature......why?
@PrimeAutotainment5 жыл бұрын

I am looking at the Denali, F150 Platinum and the Tundra. I was surprised that the interior seems to be very spartan on the Denali. It is almost like GM spent no money. They took a pile of clay and a box of switches and just stuck stuff in every direction. The technology integration looks about 4 years ago. There is more than ample room. It is a big truck. The exterior is great as far as styling goes. But the dollars are racing upwards. Imagine spending $70k for a pickup with a plastic interior?

Some people on the forums was saying the new 6.2 doesn't "feel" as fast. Does the acceleration feel the same to you as the old one? I'm sure it's a little quieter but I don't know how it could feel slower.
@PrimeAutotainment6 жыл бұрын
stellan597 that’s interesting. I thought it still felt just as fast and powerful, but it dies feel a little different and I think that’s mainly because of the 10 speed tranny. It’s pretty smooth putting power down so that might be part of it..
@r2ba4356 жыл бұрын
@@PrimeAutotainment Thanks for the quick reply. I'm debating on getting a 18 or a 19 denali. The new one has started to grow on me but I still prefer the 18's design
@PrimeAutotainment6 жыл бұрын
stellan597 no problem. Any idea what trim you’re looking into? The ‘18s should be on big discount for a while. The ‘19 was really smooth with that 10 speed. This Denali feels smoother riding than the ones without the Adaptive Ride Control (I’m testing a Silverado right now that doesn’t have that). I didn’t get to test a Sierra last year but I did 2 different ‘18 Silverados. Couple big differences from ‘18 to ‘19: bigger backseat space plus a/c vents Truck bed is more spacious on the ‘19s “Multipro tailgate is available on SLT and up I personally like the front console storage area more on the 2018s but the ‘19 is plenty practical too
@r2ba4356 жыл бұрын
@@PrimeAutotainment It would be a denali. I don't know if they have to many rebates on those even for the 18. I did see the slt has up to 12k in rebates for the 18 model though.
@PrimeAutotainment6 жыл бұрын
Nice choice. Oh bummer, the SLT offers quite a bit and some might have more options. In the Silverado I’m reviewing now I’m going to say I’d go with the Sierra instead. Good luck making a decision, that’s a tough but fun one!

Toyota Tundra,gmc Sierra and Dodge Ram are the best true trucks left.Ford is pathetic all aluminium body and the v8 engine option they offer is the pathetic 5.0 which is the smallest and most garbage v8 engine in front of these three mentioned at the top the comment section.trucks should only have v8s bigger is better.
