Thanks for the video Grant, and hope that you enjoyed it. Volume II in the series will be the Siege of Cádiz in 1625 about the anglo-dutch naval siege to the city and a possible assault at C3i Nr 38 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the siege (1625-2025), with a big thanks ro Rodger Mc Gowan for his support for the publication and have a 2nd game with them. The 3rd volume in the series (still under development) will be different from the other two, but keeping the 30 years' war epic conflicts not well-known. At 'The Spanish Road': 1) (2:05) the enemy strength is the number of dots in the counters (the value on the table it was an errata for the protestant armies and the table should mention the dots value for the protestant armies) 2) One hint, you can get one extra momentum tercio if you move to Tyrol, but the negative is that you don't get closer to Flanders. 3) A longer route allows to build more Spanish road markers, and if you get them in a row at the end (if Flanders is reached) this grants extra VPs, that's why is a good idea to move to other routes than Savoy-Franche-Comté-Lorraine, but of course is more risky for battle, attrition ... It is a challenging game to reflect the historical logistical challenge that was to move armies from Lombary to Flanders. In a short-time play there are lots of strategic options (move to the Swiss confederation?), to decide if moving to get closer to the destiny or take more time to build a spanish road is challenging to decide, but for a 40-45 minutes is really fun and easy to set up and play again :) Thanks for the great video Grant, hope that you will enjoy the next games in the series or 'The Collapse', if you are interested just let me know, Best regards from Spain, Daniel Hernández Iniesta
