Probably the best production watch currently on sale. Everything is right about it, the size is perfect, the thickness is perfect, the dial is exquisite, the case in steel and special steel at that is perfect, the movement is an update of one if the finest automatic movements ever designed and finished to levels above current patek production. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's a fraction of a Philippe dufour simplicity which is comparable in style and quality if not exclusivity

Beautiful timepiece. I'd say for the movement, finishing and precious metals it's a justified price. However it will have limited appeal considering it is a dress watch and the brand's fairly unknown aside from watch afficionados.

The dial went from amazing to truly show-stopping. The choice for steel seems odd for a watch that seems to ain to outclass any other overtly dress watch, but would have been espeically welcome if associated with a more affordable price tag. On that level, I think there is nothing justified about it and the price is all about artificially building prestige from dubious scarcity in production. A pity, because I think it would hvae stayed a connaisseur's watch even at double or more the production and at a significantly lower price. I'm sure thwy could have done that, but they chose not to. While for the style I dont care one bit and I love the simple elegance of the case, for this money I'd feel short changed for not receiving a nobler valuable alloy. Perhaps the select few customers their looking for wouldn't care about that as we're in that category where price no longer directly relates to the goods acquired. The grubby flip side of 'haute' horlogerie.
