In the 42 years that I have been a Christian, I have never seen a better quality Bible than this.
I wish I could put into words how different this Bible feels - quality wise.
It really has to be seen and felt to be appreciated.
By the way, the people at the KKV Store were super-easy to deal with and very helpful when the courier company needed additional information from me.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in ordering from them again in the future.
The Thompson Chain-Reference Study Bible was developed by Dr. Frank C. Thompson in the early 1900s, as the result of over 10 years of original research.
He began researching in 1890, taking extensive notes in the margins of his Bible, grouping references by topic, and creating "chains" of topical references that could be followed all the way through the Bible.
Members of his church saw his Bible and told him that notes like these would help them greatly in their personal Bible study.
They encouraged Dr. Thompson to have his Bible, with marginal references, published so that everyone could have the advantage of these study tools.
Since that time, Kirkbride Bible Company has added thousands of additional topics and links. The Thompson Chain Reference Study Bible available today has over 100,000 links covering over 8,000 chain topics, allowing you to follow any subject, person, place or idea from the beginning of your Bible to the end.

I got the same Bible only I got mine from church Bible publishers and it's ironed calfskin but it's invaluable in my Bible study great review love your accent God bless from Dahlonega Georgia

I love this bible and have several copies. Church Bible Publishers (CBP) here in the States has a great selection and even puts out limited editions with different leathers and ribbons. I believe that’s where the KJV Store gets their inventory from. The Thompson Chain and The Open Bible are my top favorites that stand the test of time.

The best thing iv always loved about kirkbride thompsons is they will fold in half its always my no.1 bible .

Its a special bible indeed brother, I love the TC....Kirkbride genuine leather is actually very nice . The leather is tough but over time it gets very nice but that bonded stuff it literally falls apart. I always tell people to spend the extra $20 for genuine or better yet buy one from Church bible publishers which is where your KJVStore one was made😉

That's a Great review on a great Bible my friend!! I have a Thompson Chain large print from Church Bible Publishers and it looks very very similar to the nice leather one you are holding!! Absolutely love that Bible my friend and in my personal opinion the best study Bible you can get do to the scripture vs scripture!! God Bless my Friend. 🙏😇

Another excellent video. You're 2 for 2 so far! The Thompson Chain - Reference Bible KJV is my favorite Reference Bible. I had the 4th edition which I bought in 1985, but I gave it away and got the Handsize Iron-Calfskin from Church Bible Publishers here in the States. Its great and is very flexible. However, as I approach 60, I need a bigger font size, so I intend to buy the Large Print Iron Calfskin from CBP. Its only $85.00 plus postage! The KJV Store Thompson Chain large print Bible you were showing is a Lambskin, I think, which is slightly better than the Iron-Calfskin I will be purchasing. Until then, with a little eye strain, I can use my Handsize. I can do topical studies for hours and never get bored with the Thompson Chain. I can do the same with my old Open Bible, but the Thompson Chain is a little more fun to use. You came to Christ a year before I did at age 17. I remember where I was, too. I didn't get to a Pentecostal Church until 8 years later, but better late than never.

I just bought this) Thompson chain recently. unfortunately, I did notice some of the numbers reference numbers didn’t match up, studying king David it took me to Elijah. I thought maybe I’m not looking at the numbers, right? Because im 60years old I grabbed a magnifying glass make sure I’m reading the reference number Wright,I definitely was. Had to put a note beside the Wright number.

Apparently the best study bibles ever made are following: 1. Dickson's New Analytical Study Bible 2. Topical Reference Bible - World Aflame Edition As for references The Westminster Reference Bible (regular and large print) have over 200.000 of them.

The TCR is not a study bible. You spent most of the video saying how great the KJV store bible is without saying why aside from overly repeated platitudes. Some simple lessons on reviews; YEAR/EDITION (most people leave this out - dumb. As there are zillions of different editions of this bible and some are great others garbage) Talk and demonstrate all the important points - Edge lined? Leather lined? Thumb index? The print quality - is it consistent? The paper - bleed through? The red letter - horrible pink? (The best font/red letter is Cambridge Turquoise) Field test it for a year and get back.
