My parents gave me a KJV Thompson chain reference Bible as a Christmas gift over 40 years. I would love to have one in the ESV. My KJV one was chewed on a corner by a puppy we had when I was a teenager but I still used it for years. I would def use it in my personal Bible study. Our pastors are using the ESV at our church. I love the ESV.

This is a great idea. I used to have Thompson Chain Bible in Spanish a long time ago. We are also in our first year homeschool and looking for ways to incorporate Bible studies into our routine.

This reference Bible seems perfectly tailored for Bible study as a family! My husband teaches high school history classes at the private Christian school that our children attend, and the historical charts that parallel Bible timeline with world events timeline would be so helpful!

We do verse memorization. Even little ones can learn short verses! We read children's Bibles when they were younger and studied Bible characters. I bought and made some felt pieces, and the children would retell the story using the felt pieces. We made costumes and saved them for Vacation Bible School (VBS). Our church always has a fabulous VBS that portrays a marketplace in Israel. Everyone dresses up as Bible characters. We also studied the Jewish festivals, as you mentioned. It gets easier to do Bible studies together as soon as the children are older and have a longer attention span. I have heard of the Thompson Chain Bible but never knew how to use it. I am interested in it now. It seems like it would be very helpful when doing a deep dive into Scripture. Thanks for your ideas!

It would be a blessing to win this style bible because it would truly help with the topic flow. It will help with a better understanding of the word which I am working on as a new believer. God has accepted me nack to him 2.5 years ago and I dont plan on turning back. & Iblove the idea of NOT having to use google for guidance in the bible❤

I've had a Thompson Chain Bible before & they are great Bibles. I've never read the ESV Bible. In fact, I don't know if I know anyone that has ever mentioned it. But if it goes along with the literal, it must be wonderful!
