Good vid man I’m at the same stage with torches, that Walmart one lasted me 2 days I have yet to find a solid one. Just got the turbo blue and day 1 is down and it’s great so far.

Jack 757 turbo blue is still goin a month later for me, no doubt that the turbo blue is way way way better

It's great but still doesn't last, because it LEAKS from the valve at bottom, ANY ideas on how to fix would be appreciated 🙃

@@melissadiane3082 you need to make sure the pin is pushed exactly in the middle of the circle. You can also put a tiny grommet to cover it while not it use. If it leaks inside and the flame is smaller you need to make sure the butane line hasn’t been slipping off. It’s common when you fast click the button over and over without releasing your finger slowly.

my problem w this torch is the refill containers never fully empty and theres always some butane in the bottom which doesnt come out thus gets wasted, had this problem with 3 dif. ones, but its a decent torch for the price i suppose.

That happens in every bottle. It uses gas. Not the butane in liquid form.

If it clicks, the peizo is fine. You need to purge before refill and every couple months take the nozzle apart and clean it. In the meantime shoot gas butane into the nozzle to clean debris just like a gas duster for keyboards. Make sure wire shoots directly on nozzle holes or ceramic circle. Good to go. Theres tons of videos on simple tricks that instantly fix a dead lighter. Nothing wrong with them. It’s just people don’t know how lighters work so can’t do simple maintenance that takes 5 seconds to do so they throw away a great lighter as “junk” if you want less maintenance then buy a $20 to $50 scorch torch or vector high quality name brand. They are steel and light every time!

@@sebas6066 Of course. Just do not use cheap butane like $3 Ronson. It has to be filtered at least 3x but I always do 10x with every torch or lighter. They will clog the sponge and/or filter if not. Buy a can with a plastic nozzle. I buy whip its buy one get one free for $10 and its 420 ml instead of 300 ml. So 840 ml for the price of $10 instead of 300 for $10 like other premium ones like Newport Zero. But it’s also one of my favorites especially because it has the best quality tips you’ll ever need again and it’s practically zero impurities. But whip its will last you several months.

It does but it has to be pure 99.9 percent butane because torch blue butane tank is trash

Hi great video I had the same Walmart torch as well and also found it difficult to refill and I’m pretty sure it’s broken beyond repair now just because it’s so cheaply made. I want to buy the Lowe’s one now cause of this but did you notice if the Lowe’s one had as large of a flame as the Walmart one did? Thanks would be really helpful to know

Jack 757 yeah the walmart one broke right away for me, go turbo blue and order premium butane but the butane that comes with it is GREAT for it

I bought this TorchBlue lighter and less than 24 hours later it has stopped lighting. But while it was working, it lit every time I pressed the striker and it got super hot almost instantly. But it was very dangerous due to it continuing to flame even after I released the striker and would take 1 or 2 seconds to flame out.

@@shstoelting I bought a TorchBlue lighter and had similar issues.I Then I bought a TurboBlue lighter. It looks exactly the same as the TorchBlue but it has lasted for a long time with no problems.

@@shstoelting How is that dangerous? You simply lower it slowly until it stops. It has a lock on it. It’s common in every torch. You had it too high. Most “broken” lighters thrown away are because of user error not knowing the basics of reusable lighters. It can be fixed in 1 minute and last years.
