Common issues with PCB’s, Gas Valves and Pressure sensors. Make sure you service every year to maintain the warranty because you WILL need it.

Are vailant warranties worth the paper they are written on ? On trustpilot quite few saying they are trying to get out of it when you really need it.

Definitely yes. all my customers who have used the guarantees have been very happy. Do make sure that the boiler gets registered within one month of installation . All boilers with long guaranteesand you must get them serviced every year and a logbook filled out otherwise lose the guarantee.👍

How am I supposed to take a review seriously from a “professional” who can’t even pronounce the manufacturers name correctly? It’s VAILLANT not Vailliant, you seem to keep adding an extra i for some reason. You say whack a 30kw in because it means you can run two taps at the same time, but that’s nonsense. It should be specd on whether you even have the cold water mains working pressure and large enough water supply to even manage a constant 14l/min + with two taps open, otherwise they’ve just paid for this bigger boiler for nothing. Also is the customers gas supply even big enough to power said bigger boiler you’re trying to flog them, or is that part of it all where you get to sell them a new gas run? You should be mentioning in your videos that using Vaillant modulating controls is best practice as these will increase the efficiency of the boilers as they modulate the burner, not standard on/off controls which are no benefit to the customer in saving money. Agree with EVERYTHING you said apart from the controls. Yes Vaillant controls are best for optimisation/efficiency but they fail often just like their PCBs, Gas Valves and pressure sensors! Except controls are not covered by warranty beyond the first year.

@@ChrisBeevor0511 pressure sensors fail due to poor water quality in the system, if the installer isn’t flushing the system to the correct pH level then they will no doubt block like every other boiler I can’t say I’ve personally ever had any problems with Vaillant controls myself, but I’m sure like other manufacturers controls other engineers have had problems with them I agree on the PCB issue, I’ve changed a fair few in my time, only on the older models over 6-7+ years old though. I think I’ve only had one gas valve go and that was covered under the warranty

@@ChrisBeevor0511 All issues you're naming are quite common throughout the whole industry, but apparently Vaillant did some improvements on the design over the years. Important to know is having the boiler modulate up and down rather than turn completely on and off to control the temperature is better for the gas bill and the longevity of the boiler, so I'm a fan of using a modulating thermostat from the same brand as the boiler, even if it's a very simple one (f.e. I have the VRT50: the simplest and cheap'n'cheerfullest modulating thermostat Vaillant offers since I prefer 'hands on' control of the room temperature rather than being a slave of a programmable one, and I only let the living room cool down 2-3° when not at home or sleeping anyways). The biggest marketing crap about most boiler-brand ecosystems is you often need the highest end expensive main thermostat, internet module, remote control units... in order to build a multizone system. This could be overcome by using a different multizone system, but again, many of those don't modulate the boiler so the money you save ends up costing you on the gas or boiler repair bills. Opentherm is a solution, but beware: it's not because a boiler supports Opentherm it actually gives you full functionality or compatibility with aftermarket Opentherm thermostats/internet-modules/multizone-systems...
