Excellent review!! I have a query. When i put the setting of the pen in the mouse mode, I am able to switch between the pen/eraser on Photoshop. But if i turn on the "enable windows ink function" or use it in the pen mode i am unable to switch between pen/eraser with the shortcut button on the pen. Is there any solution for that??

Hi my pen is not in control it starts and detects all movements and no clarity is there. It had been working fine for nearly 8 months I changed the nib second time and am facing this problem. Unable to use it on jamboard as well as Powerpoint

Awesome review! I'm torn between this and the a50. My use case for it would be PHOTO RETOUCHING. At the moment I'm thinking changing brush sizes and zooming in (the ability to rotate a huge plus but not required). I bought the veikk a15 pro, and its working pretty well so far, but the only thing is when I tap on the tablet like Teoh does at 7:24, I don't get stippled dots. Instead it doesnt register my touch unless I actually move the pen and create a line. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using medibang paint in case thats important

I know I'm late, but still if someone else need this, I use medibang too, and the thing is, it could be two things (for my experience, but in my case I use a Wacom tablet): medibang needs a software update or the tablet's driver needs an update.

@Hanapi Hamdan Tried both turning on and turning off the windows ink. Neither worked. Reinstalled the driver a few times didn't work either. And Nope , didn't had a prior tablet before this. The issue wasn't specific to a software but the functioning as a whole. Can't use it as a mouse either , cursor goes haywire. Another issue is that I can't use mouse and tablet alternatively if the tablet is connected. Will have to disconnect tablet to be able to use the mouse I tried checking the tablet in another guy's system , it worked completely fine on his laptop

@@waylonpark2340 Hi! Were you able to sort it out? My almost spot on guess would be Microsoft Update messing up your USB drivers. Quick troubleshooting tip: Try moving your USB devices around (while you're at it, disable/reinstall drivers. I had these unexplainable issues before wherein my mouse and keyboard suddenly stutters, only to realize it was caused by a 3.0 USB power-hogging card reader using the same 'power line' as the affected devices.

@@cappypappy I Solved It Many Months Ago. As Far As I Can Tell, The Problem Was Being Caused By Me Keeping My Tablet Right Next To My Speakers? Maybe The Magnets Caused The Issue? After I Had Given Up I Put My Tablet Away For A Few Days. And Once When I Felt Like It , Connected It And It Suddenly Started Working Properly. Since Then I Haven't Kept It Near The Speakers And It Works Fine.

For left handers, I recommend you get tablets where the physical buttons will mirror perfectly when you turn the tablet 180 degrees. Also get those where you can adjust the cable to point upwards to your computer even after you turn the tablet. i have the non pro version and these are some problems that have been happening to me after 8 months.(these only started after 8 moths) first was the cursor not moving when i use the pen but when i use my trackpad its fine. second, the cursor would be stuck at one place and its still stuck when i use the track pad and it disappears after unplugging ang plugging in the tablet but it would come back after 10 minutes or so. the next one was the shortcut keys using other commands than the command i set it to (ex. shortcut number one is set to ctrl+z but the command it sees is ctrl+t) then the last one was the tablet suddenly stopping and turns on after replugging it in. not sure if this happens to the pro one but i saw a comment saying that their veikk a15 pro had the same problem. also i know it doesnt say anything about it but this tablet suprisingly supports android. im planning to bear with the problems and last at least last a year with it and then ill buy a screen tablet. overall, i still think its a great tablet considering its my first one and that it somehow supports android.

Hello, Teoh ! Nice to see you here, are used to watch a lot of your watercolor videos! I recently started to consider using digital art, and this is literally only my second video ever on the subject… My main reason for wanting to start using it, is to streamline art supplies in a small space and mass free… And actually the biggest reason, is because I am experiencing vision loss and wanted some thing I can adjust brightness and zoom in and out on. So now I’m going to ask a really novice question… Can this tablet be used without a computer, as is? So far both videos have a connection to a computer, which I do not have. I am very limited with my tech skills, but I am learning and want to start out with simple and inexpensive options because it is all very overwhelming to me. I love traditional art, but no I need to expand my options. Love your videos they are always so very detailed and full of information!

Teoh, the lag in Photoshop could be caused by your computer trying to use the dedicated GPU. I had the same probalem with my laptop. You have to switch it to run with integrated graphics. The steps to do this is different depending on if you have an AMD or Nvidia card. Let me know if you want me to explain it here.

@@doraemon28 AMD - Right-click your desktop and go to "Display Settings". Go to "Graphics Settings" at the bottom. Find Photoshop and switch it to "Power Saving". I haven't used Nvidia in a while, but you have to go to the Nvidia control menu by right-clicking your desktop and finding the option to switch programs to power saving mode so it'll use the integrated graphics on your CPU.

its mostly the same except the shortcut keys and accessories. a15 has more shortcuts and a dial and pen stand while a50 has a gesturepad which i think only has 4 gestures. they both have the same pen models as well

@@rommycougar That wheel is customisable. You can set the wheel to change brush size, zoom, scroll, etc. Raster art cannot be transformed into vector. But vector can transfer to raster. This is software related, not hardware related.
