Excellent 1st review Alishanmao for the V450D03! Your 3D skills don't seem rusty to me but actually 'Smoother'. I'm curious on how you feel this D03 stacks up against the V450D01 you reviewed long ago...at that time you felt really comfortable with the stability (3 axis) and it was around the same time you first reviewed the V500 from Walkera.

My 2 year old likes to watch me with the 5 inch Airhog but I have wanted to get something bigger for outside but my girl won't let me spend that kind of money.. I think RC would be a great hobby for my son who was born with Spina Bifida and can't walk. Not many options when he's stuck in a wheelchair.. His mother hates the Airhog because I sometimes buzz it around her head and has hit her a few times.

Depend what you are going to fly. 3D for beginners? or just scale flights? for scale flights 0 to 100 throttle curve will work. idle up 1 or 2 for 60% to 70% throttle. Pitches to stay with in limits of this heli anywhere between 6 + -

I am very curious to know what your gyro % setting is on for 3D flying. Stock setting is mix switch '1' 75%, switch '2' 70%, and switch '3' 50%. Are you flying 3d on 50% gyro?

Hi Ali, how does the V450D03 compare with the older V450D01? I know that one has 6 axis gyro and the other has 3, but you only really need 3, anything more is redundant, right? Is there really a significant difference between the two systems as far as performance? Also, I've notice that there are a lot of plastic parts on the new version. Downgraded from carbon fiber? hello my friend, I have a helicopter WALKERA V450D03 I have the same problem. The main shaft plays upside down has gaps and so go up and down and the main gear, my I have replace 2 times why spoil what you will now do to fix this problem, I also want to ask you do you know if it fits tail of T REX 450 in VALKERA? can you HELP ME? what I will now do to build ?? and now suddenly I give GAZI just flipped the tail, (as do sometimes when they are on the ground and whirl lawn launch and spin) I have not hurt anything is with the factory settings (RTF type)

Out of practice? Sure! You are an EXCELLENT flyer. Thanks for your honest appraisal of this great heli. I'm sure it would work on a Spectrum DX5E won't it? Good luck with your flying! I've wrecked 3 3D helis so far! But only because I didn't get myself on a simulator. I'm WAY better now (of course) but still can't do barrel rolls or inverted flight confidently enough to try on a real one. I guess it takes a few years to become proficient? Still, I love RC helis and can't wait to get my hands on THIS one!! Thanks again!
