Brad said it best, this tablet is worth your money if you're looking for something affordable. I just bought this one too and quite honestly, I was hesitant in picking this up because of the non matte screen protector on it, surprisingly you still get your control when drawing on it and it is by no means slippery, every pros and cons are all mentioned by Brad, great review. You guys better pick this up while it has a discount, it'll expire by the end of the month, so instead of 250, you guys can buy it for around 210. No brainer of a purchase!

I'm new to drawing (Otherwise said I'm very very VERY bad at drawing) and I think this would probably be a good goal. I have a bout 50 Euros out of the 200 I need. Even in 2021 I think this would be a very good tablet because I can't find any other ones in that price range! A good bang for my buck!

I just ordered mine today I was holding off this when I first noticed it last year I couldn't wait anymore and, my God those lines are crisp goodbye Photoshop pen tool ( whenever I try to draw lines on my standard tablet they come out shaky) *Edit* Update it practically came 2 days later instead of a week like I was expecting I like it I needed to use a VGA to HDMI cable to get it working still, a bit curious as to why when I'm painting it lags in Photoshop

If you can, move away from using a VGA to HDMI adapter. Those things have to convert the video signal from analog to digital and that signal conversion will always introduce a few milliseconds to the screen's response time. If the PC has a DVI port, using a DVI to HDMI adapter would be a much better option as DVI is essentially just an HDMI signal without audio, no signal conversion and thus no delay. If you're on desktop and don't have DVI or HDMI, I can suggest a few cheap GPUs ($50 range) which'd solve that issue. If you're on a laptop... well you'd have to upgrade, but with a bit of Ebay luck rather decent laptops can be found for about $100. Of course if the lag doesn't bother you that much than there is no reason to fix it.

I had bought an XP-Pen Artist 10s v2 10.1” tablet. It was in one sense an amazing tablet. I prefer a smaller form factor. I gave up drawing on my 21” cintiq and have been primarily drawing on my ipad. But the actual drawing pressure was completely off. It felt like I was carving into wood. At the end of two hours of fighting utterly terrible drivers, I realized that there was no end in sight. I watched you effortlessly draw lines and it entices me to try this model out. But considering that you’re on Mac, not Windows I am hesitant to think the experience will be much different. The windows drivers seem to use something called Windows Ink and the drivers have little customization. I saw reviews talking about how terrible the drivers were but the price point got me in, and I got burned. Would love to know more about any experiences of this in windows and specifically Photoshop! Thanks.

I just got the Kamvas 13 not too long ago, but I still like watching your tablet reviews every now and then! I like the new animations you've added, and the gray and yellow color scheme. Would you consider reviewing the Samsung Notebook 9 pro? It has Wacom EMR technology and I've watched a couple of reviews boasting about how great its drawing capabilities are, but it's one of those devices that isn't as well known as something like the Surface Pro. Comes with a built in pen, too.

My xp pen artist 12 died but i'm in tight budget so it's kinda hard for me to get another one. My friends keep telling me to get a cheaper model and i'm telling you, once you have use the xp pen artist 12, you just don't want to go any lower than that. It is that good. And like Brad said in this video, the pen is the best. It make you feel like you're holding an actual drawing pencil. It's light, smooth and very comfortable to hold. Sometimes I even forget that I'm holding an stylus pen so I start writing with it on paper and question why is there nothing on the paper. The tablet is awesome too. The shortcut buttons are very convenient and comfortable to use ( but not very much if you're a lefty). The touchpad is a bit too sensitive to me so I just lock it on just scroll up/down. The only downside I found with this tablet is the cable. It's kinda easy to break. I use the tablet everyday so after almost a year, the cable started to act up. It became loosen. Accidentally disconnect everytime I move the tablet too much, so I have to hold the tablet still most of the time. Totally recommend this tablet for beginner artist who want to draw on a display tablet. It's cheap (affordable, reasonable price) and it's good.

Jay R I have it for almost a year now. But it’s not manufactor’s fault. It got steamed by my lunch box. I just tried it again yesterday after a month and it works again, luckily. But the cable is still a problem.

This is an okay starter tablet but the USB/HDMI connecter is loose and overtime it destroys the port. It lasted me 3 years but there were several months that I didnt draw.

It says it has a laminated screen and instead of the slider on the side, it looks like it has a red dial. this tablet looks good but the cable isn't secure at all. Since it moves around on the inside after a year or so it starts glitching even if you keep the wire held any small touch the screen glitches, turns off, and gives the dreaded "No signal. Powering off."

I've been stalling to buy the artist 12 but now that the pro version came out, i was confused on what to buy, the new tablet is "improved", as the company says but maybe it has some bugs and defects the old version did not have.

Dont forget XP-Pen has a experimental Linux Driver which work with the 13.3V2 so i think it works with this too but there is no lefthand option on linux.

I bought this, it was really good! Loved it! But after a couple months the display started glitching a little, but it wasnt really a big deal. But now, the display doesn't work anymore, not sure if it was the tablet itself or if it was something that I did. But now the display no longer works, but I can still draw on it.

I know this video is 2 years old but I was wondering if you can answer some questions as I'm interested in this drawing tablet. This would be my first display drawing tablet so I'm super new with this. My computer is an Acer laptop and has 3 USB-A ports, an HDMI port. There's also the Ethernet port and one I'm not sure about, its for one of those plugs with a bunch of little pins that I'm trying to find the name for. Can i plug the power USB cord into my laptop instead of using the extender cable and outlet plug? Is it safe to use an extension cord with this or other drawing tablets? When it comes to system requirements what is needed for drawing tablets? Are the ports and operating system the only thing you need to worry about it being compatible?

Hello, I got this tablet about 3 months ago, and it is honestly working really well. I use an old model of a Leveno laptop, and will often use Krita or sketchbook. (Which both work with the tablet) About the ports, I often just use the HDMI and USB connected to my laptop, and not the extended tablet cord, as long as the tablet has some sort of power source (the computer), it will work (I don't know about others, but it does for me). I would say though, do not plug the extended cord into your laptop, I have tried and it just overheated the laptop. For capability, it works with most programs, but I would say watch some videos on how to download and program the driver for your hotkeys (download driver is on official website). Also, pressure-sensitivity is mostly Important if you have a heavy hand withdrawing or if you want thick or thin line more easily.
