Hey folks! In the video I made a mistake saying that the brushed motor in this was a 260 size motor, when in fact it is a brushed 370 size motor. I apologize for the misinformation.

Great thumbnail. Great review. Thank you for sloshing around in puddles for us. I always feel peculiar while driving these 1/18 scale crawlers through the backyard ( not a kid in site) lol. But if the neighbors ask, one day ill just tell them my job is playing with toy cars… lol! Thank you Robby for helping lead the charge! My question is.. on the TRX4M ESC receiver combo. There is a mode button to set drag brake and what not. This one has a good drag brake, but Does this crawler have one as well? Have a great Day my friend, see you on the next video!

When I first started the channel almost 4 yrs ago, my neighbors were very curious as to what I was doing out there with these cars. Most of them know now, or have gotten used to seeing me out there with the cars LOL!😂 Your welcome, I enjoy doing it especially if it helps people who are new or returning to the hobby after some time away. There are so much great budget rc’s out there to share rc info with others. As far as the programming of the drag brake, this rc does not have that adjustability. Drag is on all the time. It can however be upgraded with an after market esc that you can program drag brake power. Hope this answers your question my friend! Again, thanks for the great comment!👊🏼👍🏻💯😎

Great review Robby! Pretty impressive little truck and looks very capable. The price is definitely right! My Kyosho Mini Z of the Jeep Wrangler was almost $300CDN and I think I would have been just as happy with this one and saved some $$$

Hi Robby, that Austar Hobby 8801 is doing a pretty good job, 42 degrees before it flips over is not a bad angel for this little monster. It looks like the SCX more than the TRX4-M. It handled the outdoor course pretty good. Thanks for showing another add to the wish list. 💯💯💯👍👍

Thank you bud. I totally thank you for the comment! Yes this little 1/18 is really smooth. If you remove the skirting and compare the chassis next to a TRX-4 m you will see the very close and in some cases exact similarities. With upgraded things like bearings instead of bushings that come on a TRX4-M. For the money you can’t go wrong with this set up! Thanks so much for watching my friend! Yes ! Great sleuthing brother. Yes the AX - 8560 is correct . The “C-8801” # I may have really messed this up which is I assume the color code (I think) not the model #. It arrived in a foam box with no model number or writing on it anywhere. LoL! (that’s me trying to save a few bucks😝) When editing the video I had to go back to my invoice at Ali-express and check what model number this was. It read Austar Hobby 1/18 C-8801 so that’s what I put on the thumbnail. I should of double checked with other sellers on Ali Express. So many model Numbers to remember in this business. That’s why I think names are easier. Any way my mistake. I couldn’t remember what size motor this had in it, this model had been sitting in my Rc Room for almost 2 months before reviewing it. Any way I knew it was bigger than most 1/18 scale crawler trucks, but couldn’t remember the size so, I did a physical comparison next to a 380 size motor I had laying around and a MN99 model 260 size motor and it lined up pretty much perfectly. So I went with that. Again, I should of double checked. After reading your comment, I went on Ali-express and double checked and it is a confirmed 370 size motor. Must be a small one though LoL! Any way my apologies for any mis information. Think I was up real late putting this video together( like 2:30 am in the morning, and I get up for work at 4:15 am in the morning. I appreciate you correcting me, unfortunately I can’t change the video as I have already deleted and trashed it. I will however make the correction in another upcoming video on the AX-8560. Yep, that’s right Eric, these can be found for as low as $56 and $90 depending where you look. No matter, you are 100% right,comparing this to a much more expensive Traxxas is a no Brainer.
