I bought one through Ebay, I got a great deal on mine (Queen size), I plan on putting a sheet of cabinet grade plywood 1/2" thick to spread out the weight load better.. since it's thin walled metal it will eventually start to sag, this will prevent that from happening...

You should use Thread locker It's a liquid that locks screws in place With a Sealand And I'm replacing the nuts that came with it is with Is plastic threaded nuts so they will not come loose over time.

The headboard side of the bed's legs should have two holes on them, as shown at 1:08. This is the attachment point for a headboard. You can attach a headboard using long bolts and nuts, which are not included with the frame, but may be included with your headboard. Make sure the holes on the headboard's feet will align with the holes in the frame's legs and sit flat on the floor before assembling!

If you use an innerspring mattress, you'll need to have a box spring under it, sitting directly on the frame first. An innerspring mattress cannot be used without a boxspring, as these types of slat frames do not offer enough support for that type of mattress.

You'll need to buy a stand alone headboard designed to attach to a separate frame, and you'll bolt it to the two legs with the holes in them at the head of the bed. You may or may not need an additional metal adapter bracket depending on the size and construction of the headboard you end up getting.

There weren't sizes indicated on the diagram but they look to be either m6 or m8 size bolts that are approximately 40mm in length. Any big box store like Lowes or Home Depot will carry these bolts and the accompanying nuts as pieces you can buy individually. If you're not sure on the size, I'd buy just one to see if it fits first before buying a whole bunch, you can always return it and exchange for a different size if it's not the right one.

No, this bedframe does not creak or squeak when you are on it. I'm using a memory foam mattress and haven't had any issues with noises from the frame.

Good! No problems with it. We use it with a memory foam mattress and no foundation and with two of us plus the mattress we're probably around 350 lbs. I think it would probably work well for you.

There are usually sizing guides in the section where they sell the bolts too so you can determine the size and thread of the bolt you have. If you don't know how to use the sizing tools, a store associate should be able to help you find a match.

My memory foam mattress weighs about 60 lbs and with two people on it we probably add around 300 lbs. I guess it depends on your mattress type too. Since our bedframe sits on a carpeted floor it doesn't slide at all, and the memory foam absorbs a bulk of any motions that occurs on top, very little if any of that translates into sound or movement of the bed and frame. I haven't experienced or detected any loosening or structural problems with the metal frame in terms of strength and the bed itself is silent; I don't think I've ever heard it squeak.

No, I haven't experienced any sagging, though I am using a memory foam mattress with a high density (without a box spring), so sagging from this type of mattress would be quite unusual.

Good, I haven't had any problems with it structurally. We are using a queen sized 11" memory foam mattress on it without a box spring. The mattress itself weighs about 100 lbs and with two people adds an additional 275 lbs. The metal corners at the foot of the bedframe are easy to bang your shins into though so we put rubber bumpers on them which are hidden by the bed skirt. The only thing with using a bed skirt is that because the mattress sits down in the frame about an inch the proportions of the bed skirt are off so it doesn't quite reach the floor.

Hm, I don't know if you can get replacement legs that do have the headboard holes. The only other option may be to drill the holes on your own using the proper tools.

We're going on 4 years in a few months, haven't had any issues with it. We switched from a box spring with innerspring mattress to memory foam without a box spring. Holding up to daily use pretty good. No squeaking or loosening of parts as far as I can tell.

No, regular innerspring mattress require a foundation for proper support and the slats likely won't be able to provide that on their own.
