Reviewing a 2650 Chevy SS

I'm about ready to install my LSA kit. I bought everything last year in August and it's just been sitting in my car ever since. I recently just brought all the parts inside and have it all organized in the corner of a room. I think I have like $12,000 into the parts alone. Bought it all from Lance Draeger at R&D Performance. I hope I install it all this year. With everything I got the tuner told me that I would be at 700rwhp. So I have been debating on installing some drop in forged rods and pistons since I will have the engine out to do all of this work to it. After knowing your G8 didn't last very long, that has kind of motivated me to go with forged bottom end before I boost it. I have a 2.4 griptech pulley, Dual 545 pumps. e85 conversion kit, stage 3 BTR PDS cam, stock lower pulley, the only thing I have installed all winter was my Prosport Evo Premium Gauges. I had a custom a pillar made and dash cover made. 5 gauges total. And MAN does it look SWEET! Should be on my channel.

Wow! That’s gonna be nasty. I’m deff gonna suggest building the motor. But if you keep it conservative and keep and eye on it it should be fine. I was just dumb and hit the red limiter all that 😂. But looking back it would of been way cheaper to build the bottom end😭. I’ll keep a eye out for you set up, 🤞

LL 🦁 my goal was owning anything 🇦🇺 after seeing GTO and G8’s. The SS is the best of the last hands down. 408 rooted makes heaven kitties. Keep it coming, bang that bow tie.
