It's a good thing.. Competition. Keeps the standards high. Standards that were already superb. Competition in terms of quality of finish returning to factory fresh and at the other end of the scale ingenuity and pushing the frontiers further than the manufacturers' minds eye. What will also be interesting is the new approaches competition brings in terms of method and application of materials. It is completely absorbing to watch passionate, imaginative, skilful people bring my passion (diecast) to life and make it sing and dance. As a kid I had my face squashed up against the toy shop window agog and now I'm there again through people like Uncle Martin weaving their magic. Unlike many things in life it shows that some things are retrievable. And I get to see them every week through you guys. Many thanks for that.

i started t restore dinkys and corgis about 40 years ago for the children to play with now its a different ball game parts and techniqes have chaned for the better people like yourself give us more encouragement cheers martin .

Thanks Peter I know he will appreciate it ,the silver lining is insulation liner comes on a roll and has a thin layer of bubble wrap in the middle, b&q or any place like that you can get different thicknesses. All the best Martin
