Reviewing and Upgrading The Valentine | Ship Guide Series | Starfield

What’s good Space Cowboys! In this video, I take a close look at The Valentine. This is a unique ship that can be found by random encounter in any system. You will know you have encountered the Valentine if you hear an Irish man singing a space shanty when you jump into a system. If you want to take this ship, do not engage in dialog and just open fire. Board the ship and take it over. You will rack up a sizeable bounty for this but it is totally worth it. Between bounties and registering the ship you will be looking at about 100,000~150,000 credits. I will show you what you get stock on this ship and just a few minor tweaks I made to make this an end game killer. Enjoy!

Noticed “The Valentine” comes in many ship variants, with many different hab models. The one I just stole defies in game mechanics. It’s way longer than what we’re normally allowed to build. The one I have has a large 3x3 cargo hall, 3x3 mess hall, 3x3 battle station, 2 different captain quarters, science hab, an infirmary hab, workshop hab, armory (with brig) hab, computer hab, engineering bay hab, 3 separate 1x1 companion habs, and some weird all in 1 2x1 hab, it’s absolutely ridiculous. There’s a glitched out ladder that goes down to one of the bottom levels that shows a plate in the floor you shouldn’t be able to go through, but you can lol! It’s so weird! Has 3 different levels to the ship, has almost 5k cargo space as well. It’s absolutely amazing. Never have I ever came across a ship with so many habs & levels that also defies & excess allowed ship length. Came with 2 giant square class c posideon engines . I’m going to have to make a video on it tomorrow & show everyone how broken this ship is. I’m thinking it’s bugged & when I log back in tomorrow, the entire layout is going to change.. Everything I’m saying sounds made up & untrue, but I wouldn’t waste my time typing this super long comment. I’m betting when I do log back in tomorrow, I’m going to be highly disappointed that it’s going to be fixed & not the same as when I originally stole it.

Fastest way to pain a ship is to select all while you’re on a piece it’s already been colored, then select first color, go down the color slide on the third row, move it once up or down and then back and repeat the process on the next two the colors will match identical

That is a great work around. It would be nice if they had a color matcher tool built into the tool. It's not like the eye dropper tool is something that is hard to code. Bethesda could honestly release an entire DLC just for ship building and outpost building

I think I got lucky with my RNG. Others have told me they def did not get this valuable of a ship

The biggest issue with the Valentine is that the ships are different for each level of Valentine. This one is basically a Vista version which I found at level 76 Valentine. I am still looking for the 74 which is the Voyager 3.

Ooooh I wonder if there is a version that is the Chimera? I havent gotten that ship yet. Do you think that would be higher or lower level than the Vista?

@@citizenzerogames1637 Chimera 3 is my favorite also. Pretty sure no Valentine version of that. I have had a Level 72 Valentine (Renegade 3), 74 (Voyager 3) and the 76 (Vista 3) is the highest I have seen. During NG+5 the highest Valentine I saw was a 66 which I boarded and turned out it was a Autobahn 2. The bounty was so high that I reloaded the save and avoided it. 90 percent of the Valentine's I see are between 10 and 40's. Extremely rare for me to see a Valentine in the 60';s or 70's.

I got a vista with out stealing from the Valentine. I found one on a moon and stole that one

Multi-select for painting is hold L-CTRL and click each piece. Also: That grav drive was a total waste of money. You can't get any higher than 30LY for range and the stock grav drive gave gives you that. You gain exactly zero benefit for the credits spent. The only way that would have made sense is if you added more mass for cargo and that lowered the range - but you didn't. It's as if you took a bucket of credsticks and flushed them out the airlock...

Thanks for the tip on the multi select. I think I was trying to use shift click. As for the grav drive you are probably right. Not necessarily worth the credits for the extra hull points, but when you got cred to burn why not max it out

I think it is random based on the level you are at when you come across it. This one is actually a Vista which I think will spawn after level 72ish or so

The Valentine is not a ship. That's a Vista. Valentine can be anything. I'm flying a Venture that was a Valentine.

Yeah I have since found that out. I guess that saves me from doing a Vista build later!

I think you are right. I havent ever come across a Vista yet but someone told me earlier that the Valentine is just a RNG of an existing ship design. Kimd of made me a little sad that it wasnt actually a unique ship. 😔
