1:00 The Virginian Railways 805805 class 2-4-6-8-10-12 was a single locomotive designed by Dr. Bowellmuvvement in 1934. After being banished from the NSWER, Bowellmuvvement entered his villain arc, and spent 15 years drawing up plans for a machine to DESTROY ALL THE RAIL LINES as revenge for his banishment, and 15 more years funding it and building it himself. If one of his assistants were to try and stop him from doing so, Bowellmuvvement simply had him fired, and as such was all by himself at the end of it. The ginormous machine made its first public appearance on the Virginian railway, Bowellmuvvement's first target. He first advertised the locomotive as "a totally safe and powerful machine that will haul any load without issue", and the overly gullible crew instantly believed him, and boy did they regret it. You see, this thing, an 2-4-6-8-10-12 no less, had NO articulation, and because of this ABSOLUTELY WRECKED every line it ran on, tearing the rails to shreds from its extreme weight. Soon, Bowellmuvvement was questioned as to why in all that is holy would he ever design something like this, he said "Oh, It'll work, if you only run it on straights that is." Unfortunately, nobody found this joke funny, so the locomotive was just scrapped, and Bowellmuvvement was forbidden from ever designing locomotives again, putting his rail-wrecking rampage to an end.

0:11 that is a Victorian Railways E class tank engine, specifically E371. It along with the others were converted from 2-4-2’s to 0-6-2’s in the 20’s. E371 did shunting until around the late 60’s where it was retired. It was then sent to the Goldfields Railway at Maldon (pronounced Mole-don) where it lied on static display. For a short amount of time, it was given the ugly Thomas face and paint job but then a few years later after the failed attempt to restore it to working order as it was too damaged. It now lies on static display next to a platform.

@@benmoore2253 No it was not, Conrail owned the Philadelphia & Reading Railway’s Rocket, which although it was also an early steam loco, was completely different from the Stephenson’s Rocket. I recommend you look it up, it’s an interesting relic.

0:26 That is Victorian Railways E371. It was built by David Munro & Co of South Melbourne in 1893 as an E class suburban locomotive and numbered E496 and was originally a 2-4-2T. It was constructed during the same time VR introduced a shunting version of the E class, known as EE class 0-6-2T. E496 itself was rebuilt into an EE class in 1896 and reclassed as EE496. During the Melbourne electrification scheme which replaced all remaining OG E class locomotives, EE496 became EE371. During the late 1920s all of the EE class 0-6-2Ts became E and this locomotive was renumbered accordingly to E371. (It should be mentioned that one original E 2-4-2T was still in service but was unclassed by that point likely to prevent confusion between that and the 0-6-2Ts.) E371 would be tasked to do shunting duties throughout Victoria like Brooklyn, Geelong, and Melbourne. It was also allocated to the North Melbourne Locomotive Depot when not in use. By the early 1960s E371 was officially confined to the Newport Workshops as a shunter and was officially withdrawn in 1972 after a 79 year long career. The engine remained in storage at the workshops until the 1980s when it was bought by the Victorian Goldfields Railway. They planned to restore it to operational condition, but was found to be far too worn out when dismantled for restoration, so these fell through. So instead it was reassembled and transferred to Maldon Station (hence the name) and put on display. During the 2010s E371 received its Thomas guise as seen in this video, but the face was later removed leaving behind the blue paint. In 2022 the locomotive was transferred to the station's docking platform and was restored back into it's black livery, which was the condition I saw it when I visited Maldon in 2023. I hope this is helpful : )
