No one seems to like it lol Chinese people don't like it because they get none of their culture right. Activists don't because they thanked the Chinese government at the end who have concentration camps for Muslims which the show filmed near those places, and regular people don't like it because it's bad/lost all the good stuff mulan was liked for

The reason why season one of korra had a bunch of things each episode is because it was only supposed to be only one season but since it got a lot of attention, Nickelodeon asked them to make another season. After season 2 they greenlit 2 more seasons (which is why those are more connected than the first two season) I know a lot of people don’t like legend of korra but I really liked it growing up 👀

Lol I freaking loved Korra right from the start. Something about seeing a female avatar hit me a lot harder than I thought it would. The production schedule got majorly messed up by Nickelodeon and the switching writers every episode definitely hurt it, but I don’t like when it’s compared to ATLA. It’s a different show with a different narrative and new characters. More of a spin-off than a sequel. Everyone hates season 2 (I didn’t mind it), but season 3 really picks it up.

Yeah totally, the first season is so rushed because they thought they were only getting to do one season total. Once bryke knew they were getting more they could finally take their time and develop things in the third and fourth seasons

Two of the Best New Shows of 2020: The Great. It’s absolutely incredible, hysterical, and so smart. Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. If you like musical tv, this show is for you, it’s so fun. Plus it has Lauren Graham in it! Definitely recommend checking out both of these and they both have second seasons coming next year!

read the avatar comics! they are a direct continuation of the series! also apparently korra was originally only going to be one season, which is why book one is so condensed. season 2 is ok, but there’s a great two parter about the first ever avatar which is pretty interesting. season 3 and 4 are great imo, with some of my favourite villains in the franchise

Yes, PLAGARIZED! from a Japanese anime film titled Kimba The White Lion, it was gonna get a sequel but they couldn't cause Disney would sue them for copyright. How fucked and sad is that a company created by a white man and ran by white people could steal from Japanese artists and try to sue them for plagiarizing soemthing THEY THEMSELVES (Disney) STOLE!!!

On Milan being $30, to be fair if it was out in theaters you would’ve spent $30+ on tickets and snacks. I think they were trying to recoup costs. Plus it’s 1 charge per house/account, so for families it’s still a deal instead of buying $10-15 tickets a piece.

Wait until you no longer have an ATLA-shaped whole in your heart to watch LoK, then give it another chance. I promise you’ll like it better than the first time! The exact thing happened to me. I tried watching when it first came out, still with an Avatar-shaped void to fill, and it DIDN’T FILL IT! Years later, tried again once ATLA had a renaissance and was back on Netflix, and LOVED it. Season one was a bit teen drama-y, but I like those kind of shows. Seasons 3 and 4 are where the show really shines! I’m SHOOK. So good, but definitely more mature than ATLA.

I watched Avatar for the 1st time 2 years ago and absolutely adored it (I rewatched it this year)! This year I watched all 4 seasons of Korra and liked it... but DEFINITELY not as much as Avatar. In my opinion season 1 and 2 weren't that great, but season 3, and especially 4 were pretty good (plus there is more Avatar character involvement). Maybe continue to see what you think of the overall story line!😊

with korra, i really just recommend watching season 3. you can skip season two, (cause even tho i like korra, i agree that season 2 SUCKED) you wont really miss anything important to the plot and season three just has alot more cool worldbuilding and its slower and alll that stuff, but i respect that if you dont want to watch it because you didnt enjoy the first season. all good! this video was great

You HAVE to watch Hollywood on Netflix! So good, glamorous, and a interesting look into what would've been if current barriers regarding race and gender/sexuality in Hollywood were broken down during the Golden Age of Hollywood (specifically the 1940s) Also recommending Big Mouth on Netflix. Very similar to pen15 in terms of content, but animated. So good!
