daenerys' dragon eggs hatched because she learnt the blood magic from mirri maz duur, "only death can pay for life." drogo's death, her son's death, mirri's death paid for her dragons to hatch. before that they were literally stone which is why they never hatched

The Inheritance Cycle was THE book series, that got me hooked on fantasy. It’s about me of my absolute favorite series of all time (alongside Harry Potter, Shadowhunter chronicles, Percy Jackson etc.) Eragon was the first book I ever read in English (I’m Danish), because I knew it so well and loved it so much. You should really look forward to the sequels. It is EPIC!

'You' scared the crap out of me. I started watching it abroad in London and was literally shocked about how on the nose and scarily accurate it was about social media and putting yourself online. Wow oh wow was it super weird to start rooting for Joe in the story line, when he is horrifying.

I’m so excited!! I have a book club with my mom, and she’s not really done fantasy yet because she never read it growing up and she’s just starting to get into it. But three weeks ago she was diagnosed with cancer, so I’m trying to pick the best of the best. Eragon will be the top of the list. She’s gonna love Saphira; maternal but like a lioness, because she’ll go to bat for her cub!

I'm re-watching GOT as well! Currently on season 3 and I am living for it! I watched the first 2 seasons just after finishing high school so many years ago now and I didn't realise how much I had completely forgotten about, which was basically most of what happened except character deaths really haha I'm getting so much more out of it now and it's so interesting watching it knowing whose going to die and how the other characters develop, and I have such a greater appreciation for the "bad guy" characters this time round, so glad I'm rewatching before the final season

Watched the first episode of Russian Doll and was unsure how I felt. You’ve convinced me to continue! Been binging Sex Education and started My Mad Fat Diary and I’m so in love. It’s streaming on Stan ( an Aus site) but I would recommend it - I might be biased because I relate too much to the main character.

My frustration with Bandersnatch was that the choices didn't matter and that it would circle you back if you hit a dead end. You really couldn't find an ending that felt like a complete ending because they kept giving you options to try again.
