I too was pleasantly surprised by Killer Frequency. I just saw the unique box art and the Team17 logo and thought to myself "have we ever seen a Team17 developped horror game before?". I couldn't think of one so I bought it to see what their first entry in the genre might be like. Did not regret it.

Sooo glad you gave Juggernaut its flowers! It's become one of my favorite FMV adv. games. I love the combination of Myst-likes and horror/ mystical elements! D, Enemy Zero, and Lunacy come to mind. Also, i love watching people play through Juggernaut. Do you have a vod of your playthrough on your twitch ch?

I played Silent Hill Downpour in October and loved it. Incredibly underrated game imo

Dino Crisis is definitely a game that benefits from nostalgia. As a Jurassic Park and RE fan back in the late 90s, I absolutely loved it. I still really like it but I agree its tough to play for the first time now. At the time, we just wanted more RE/Survival Horror so it was a fantastic compliment to the genre. One of my favorite classic SH games but I can see how your opinion wouldnt be as kind.

I don't know if it's completely left to nostalgia. I never got around to sitting down and actually playing it all the way through until around 2015, and I dug it quite a bit. I like it even more than the sequel. Of course, I'm also old and a big fan of vintage RE, so that probably helps a lot. But I didn't play it back in the day, so I think it largely comes down to taste/preference.

Pete, great channel. I love the fact that a lot of these games run sub 4 hours. I find myself appreciating short, complete experiences lately. I recently picked up a steam deck and I'm blown away by the quality of PC Indies. Thanks for the show.

Always appreciate your videos, especially sleeping with pete, i need to finish the dead space remake, alan wake 2 is amazing almost done with it, RE4 remake was super fun for me as well as a huge resident evil fan, and now I'm just getting back into dying light 2 and having fun because of all the new updates, and I also beat Dead Island 2 recently.

ALISA from a visual standpoint is absolutely stunning. He is the only developer who I think knows how to do the 90's prerendered look well. I can only hope that one day he teams up with some people and makes a PS1 RPG inspired by FF7 etc

House of ashes was just what I was looking for a few weekends ago. Very entertaining with light environmental puzzles a few qte and dialogue choices but largely a fun interactive Aliens/Predator inspired experience. Easy to run through in one sitting when you don't have the energy for anything too demanding. On easy mode that is. Halfway through Little Hope now and loving it as a Silent Hill fan.

Couldn't agree more about Stray Souls - not sure if I'll ever go back to it or not. Curious as to whether you plan to play The Chant's (free) DLC? I enjoyed it and figured the fact it's free offset the cost of the base game.

I've been playing Alone in the dark for xbox 360 and i love it, and was getting kinda angry now that it got shafted so hard back in the day.. it's a gem.

Yeah I actually picked up Killer Frequency because of your stream. Definitely a game I wanted to check out for myself. I also picked up Daymare because I think I’ll get some enjoyment out of it and it was cheap. The only game that really really surprised me was Iron Lung. With all the hype I was expecting a lot more than what it delivered. I guess if you played it alone, with headphones, at night, in a dark room, and were in the mood to be scared, it would be different, but I don’t need that to enjoy games like Resident Evil. Just feels overhyped, or at the very least, not for me.

My huge complain about Dead Space remake is that devs fucked up luminescence paint. Original game have it and it was easier to find crates and lockers beacause they all have logo with luminescence paint wich react with flashlight. Remake have not this feature :( Another copmlain is that game some times freaking out when I run it. It's not loading meshes or textures. And I have beefy PC.

It has a story. It's got just about as much story as RE did. Even a little more characterization, I'd say. If you dig oldschool RE, I don't see how you could go wrong. Sequel's fun, too. A lot more action in that one.

It has more to do with his lighting. The light reflecting off his computer screen gives it that high brightness.
