Turn 1. 1. Playing Greedo 2. Opponent playing random 2 cost 3 health unit. 3. Ma Klounkee Greedo. Killing the unit. 4. Boba Resource. 5 Play again Greedo. + Bossk 3-shots and kills almost all leaders. Amazing tempo for Boba deck.

Love the videos and the ideas. I personally love Reputable Hunter, and don't think that Clan Challenges should be slept on either. Can't wait to see how the meta shapes with these. Thank you for your analysis mate!

Ma Klounkee is going to be a beast. Bring out Bossk, ambush, take out a unit, ready a resource. Ma Klounkee Bossk. Do Bossk ability first for 2 damage, then 3 damage from event ability. Bring out Boba, & swing. You've got 2 open resources & a Bossk in hand for next turn.

I'm not sure if that timing works with Bossk's ability but if it does that sounds pretty sweet!

1) Play Bounty Hunter Crew, ambush something for 4 and return a Ma Klounkee from discard to hand. 2) Play Ma Klounkee to return Bounty Hunter Crew to your hand and deal 3 damage to a unit. For 7 resources a turn (6 with Bib/Jabba/Boba) you can pick off 2 small units each turn for 0 cards. I think Ma Klounkee is insanely good in any underworld focused deck.

I personally love the cunning cards. Cunning has been my favorite aspect due to it being able to roll in so many different ways to respond to plays from others. So many decks are pretty narrow and you play them a certain way. Cunning lets that pivot happen much easier and that’s what I love about it

Ma Klounkee looks like it is kind of nuts in Boba Fett built more as an Underworld control mid range deck. Bounce Jabba for free, deal 3, search again next turn or the same turn. Bossk deals 2 then this deals 3 returning Bossk to Ambush again later. This is sort of action cheating in some combos. More value cheating I would say.

I think you are undervaluing Ma Klounkee. I think it leads to a lot of fun plays and only gets better with more desirable when played effects.

Fair point! I've actually gotten more positive about the card based on seeing others' responses to it and thinking about it more -- I think my initial take was a bit too pessimistic as well!

Ketsu looks great in a Cassian deck! The Cassian deck is starting to take form.

Ketsu Onyo - Don't forget shields and experience tokens are upgrades that can be removed, and cost 0. I think this is more pertinent for shields as they can flip aggro pretty hard. Reputable Hunter - Feeling like it is going to be good in a deck that passes out bounties, or sideboard in a lot of decks if bounty aggro decks become a thing. "Capture" - You think Boba is bad now? Just wait til he can 'easily' make a unit leave play to get resources back for follow-ups into a weakened board. Boba Green may be a bigger boogeyman. Capture also removes all upgrades, including shields and experience. I think it'll be strong if upgrades tick up. Ma Klounkee is going to be pretty good - definitely for shielded and when played, but also synergizes with Bossk, again. Bossk may be the winner of the set so far. I think this card is my favorite, feels like what Cunning as an aspect has been missing - an actual removal card that doesn't exactly lose tempo if you're clever with it. Just some of my thoughts :)

No, there is considerable skill involved. Luck does play a factor (is it does in all card games) but even in higher-variance matchups like aggro mirrors there can be important and relevant choices to make.

Maybe I’m wrong but why would you want to pay x cards to smuggle a card to top of your deck then pay the cost again to play it?

Smuggle means that you can play that card from your Resources for its Smuggle cost, and since it leaves your Resources and enters an arena, you get to replace that lost Resource by placing the top card of your deck face down as a new Resource.

Designers already said you can’t do the damage to First Light. Dealing the 4 damage is part of the cost of playing the card and it doesn’t enter play until all costs are paid. Would be good though. Too good.

Clan Challenger Reputable Hunter L337 These are all tied for 2nd for me. My favorite is Ma Klounkee, becauae its going to pair super nice with Pirated Starfighter and other etb effects
